stupid question i know, but some people in my group have confessed to only eating melon/salad on weigh day. i eat as normal throughout the day and get weighed at 6pm, then i eat my tea when i get home, am i the only one?????

I eat :D I have something substantial around 11 ( I weigh in tonight and I have had so far a homemade rice pudding made with milk..large serving mmm ) then a snack around 3, my weigh in is at 7, so usually by then most of what I have had, has had some time to digest, then I have my tea when I get in, its never done me any harm :D

i eat as normal, weigh in at 6pm and usually have something a bit naughty for tea! x

As long as you eat about the same every week then I wouldn't have thought it would matter?

Saying that I eat nothing until after my 5pm weigh in...now I've started I cant stop! Argh!!!

I get weighed in the morning. I have my normal breakfast but I always drink 500ml water. Sometimes more but never less.

I tend to stick to Red on weigh days, I suppose my mentality is that I'm not filling my body with stodgy heavy foods. I think things like chicken salad, fish, soup etc will digest quicker and not stick around too long and bloat you up - Probably a complete load of rubbish but losing weight is as much a mental "game" as it is physical so I suppose what ever works for you is fine. I certainly wouldn't just eat melon on a weigh day, I'm always hungry, I'd be chewing my own arm off by midday!!

I eat the same on weigh day but normally stop drinking water at 4pm as i weigh at 7, but this time i should have been to the toilet enough that i dont have any excess water weighing me down!!

I do seem to be in the minority though that when i get home i still having something SW friendly?! Everyone i know has something naughty after WI.

i eat normally - but im very aware of things that day - how silly eh?

I wouldnt for example on weigh day have a roast beef dinner at lunch, i would just have a sandwich etc....

i think not eating is pointless....x

Well I just eat as normal for breakfast and lunch, but try not to snack during the afternoon. I weigh in at half 5 or half 7. I also drink lots and lots of water, up until a couple of hours prior to weigh-in, so that there's plenty of time for the water to flush things through. Nothing more important than that pre-weigh-in pee! **Macca blushes** (surely there should be a smiley for that?!)

As someone else said, I think as long as you're pretty consistent every week, it shouldn't make much of a difference. I'm not sure starving until the evening is quite the right idea though...

yes i have to admit i have something not sw friendly every monday, i dont go mad but do have a treat! i could not survive eating just melon.it would kill me!

I also have a SW meal/snack when I get home, religiously. No treat-night for me! There's no bermuda triangle on WI night (as our C is fond of saying) - those syns gotta go somewhere!

I always eat light on weigh day, although I realise that you should really eat as you normally would!! I'm just conscious that if I ate a huge roast dinner weighing about 1 1/2 lb, I could potentially gain that weight!! Although I don't think it works like that!! I'm weighing tonight and I had 28g Dorset cereals muesli with semi skimmed milk and a banana for brekkie, I'm having stirfried veg and noodles for lunch and I'm not sure yet what's in store for dindins! I'll be leaving at 5pm for class and haven't organised anything yet! Poor hubby will be fending for himself- poor dab!!X

As I WI in the morning, this is not a problem for me...however, what I wear is more the issue :)
(OMG - can't believe I'm going to write this....) I now have 'lucky' pants especially for WI day.......!!!!

LOL - I have lucky pants for when my footy team plays. I might try it for WI too! Good thinking! :)

I've only had one weigh in so far, 2nd one tomorrow night but I eat as normal on weigh in day and then have a normal SW dinner when I get home. I try to not think of it as different to any other day!
