Thanks for all your wonderful words of encouragement. Thought I'd give you an update ....
The good news is .... the problem ISN'T cancer.
The not so good news is that he needs further tests (including an endoscopy) to ascertain what the problem is.
However, hearing that it's not 'the big C' was a great relief
And we got some FANTASTIC news on the way home ... you may or may not know that hubby was made suddenly and unexpectedly redundant a month ago (no redundancy pay - hasn't been there long enough) so we've had NO income since then and nothing to come at the end of this month. Well, he's been job hunting ever since and on the way home the agency called to say he's been successful with one company and starts on May 2nd.
I can't tell you how relieved we are .. it's been a terrible strain not knowing how we were going to pay the mortgage and all the bills. As it is, we're selling our car to see us through til his first pay day but we should start to see things turn around after that.
Now I can get on with my university assignments and take my exam on Monday with an easier mind
Thanks again for your messages of support.
