A totally inspriring read

Thanks for posting - was interesting!

Wow, that is a lot to read - but very very interesting!! I made it all the way to the end! :D Good stuff Jezz.

I am getting it truly in my head this past year that we are so much better off whit whole, unprocessed food. If we cannot pronounce and ingreditent, whe shouldnt have it. lol Its hard work changing a life of ingrained beliefs, just as he says. I still find myself reaching for non or low fat stuff....really must try what he is saying more often. Its coming. JUst a lot of habits to change!

Thanks for that!!

Great to hear from you BL, I miss you loads hunni bun, but love the new pics, you are as ever looking fantastic!!

I loved the guys site so much I mailed him and told him a bit of my story, and asked if he minded if I posted the link here. He mailed me back and said he would love to come onto Minis for a chat, will be interesting to share some views with him I feel.

How are things in your world my love, hopefully on the up and up??

Thanks for that Jez.

I hope you are well ~ you should still pop into SS thread sometimes. ;) xx :)

Thanks for posting that Jezebella, read it from start to finish and I am finally beginning to understand that this is the way I need to eat once I have finished LL.

I have also started reading 'French women don't get fat', on your recommendation and again it is really interesting.

hi jez
good read, all made sense (esp the red wine, lol!)

very interesting... not sure I agree with totally cutting out carbs, but that's mostly because I cannot imagine having the willpower to do so!!! Still, his story is inspiring..

Thanks so much for posting Jez, you get really stuck into his story - had to stop eventually as it was so late and I needed to sleep but will continue where i left off later.

This particularly struck a chord in me:
"Even when I am the same weight for a few days in a row, or the progress is painstakingly slow, I just keep thinking that every day that I am at this new weight is a day that I am not at my old weight - and that is a victory. Every day that I am at the new weight banishes my heavier weight forever. Soon I will lose a little more, and this current victory weight will be the heavier old weight. I just have to keep going".

It is funny as I had been giving carbs a really good amount of thought recently. I had made the decision to reduce them quite a lot after RTM, so reading this was really interesting.

I don't plan to cut them back completely, but I had made the decision to have them only once a day and in moderation.

ie If I eat cereal for breakfast, I won't have bread/pasta/rice/potatoes the rest of the day. If I have a sandwich at lunchtime, I won't eat a carby breakfast/evening meal, if I have carbs at my evening meal I will avoid them earlier in the day. So reading his suggestion of omelette or egg & bacon for breakfast was really useful.

Can't wait to read the rest.
