Starting To Slip

Hi guys, first I feel I should say a little bit about myself.

I'm 22 years old, and up until 18 months ago I weighed around 26 stone, it had got to the point where I was beginning to be an embarrasment with my weight, breaking beds etc, so I decided to change my life.

I went on the slimfast diet, 2 drinks a day and 1 meal in the evening (sometimes switched to lunch if I am going out for lunch etc) and for over a year I was very determined, for the most part I cut out fizzy drinks, chocolate, sweets etc etc and it has resulted in my losing around 7 stone.

But these past 4 or 5 months I have found myself slipping, I am hungry constantly, find myself snacking every day, more and more I find myself buying junk type food from supermarkets for dinner, or even just as a snack (for instance, lately I have been buying beef jerky, pork pies and chicken and mushroom slices)

I dont do much exercise at the moment, I feel embarrased and social awkward doing it by myself, and so want someone to do it with, but none of my friends have enough free time at the moment.

Basically, I'm not putting on weight, but I'm not losing it, I feel that if I werent snacking so much then the weight loss would continue (I'm fluctuating between 18st 7lb and 19st) even if just slightly.

So I dont know, does anyone have any recommendations for what I can do to stop the hunger? (that doesnt involve stopping my diet in any way, I dont feel Im ready yet) suggestions for what could be good to snack on when I do get hungry?

At the moment I try to have a 4 hour gap between my drinks/eating, so I generally have my drinks at 10 and 2 and then dinner at 6, I'm thinking it might be a good idea to have a small snack at 12 and 4 if I need them.

how about more drinks - not shakes. so water, teas etc and maybe some fruit, dried fruit. I have slipped too for the past couple of weeks and intend on starting over on Monday. good luck with it x

they do say that sometimes thirst is mistaken for hunger, 3 litres a day is recommended.
