Hi im new here just had a BFP today, although i tested a couple of days ago and got an extreamly faint line, this time it was easier to see although not very dark but definatly there! according to ask baby.com im in week 6, but officially 4 weeks and due on the 18th of october! so fingers crossed alls going to go well im really worried at the moment cos ive got mild but pretty constant cramps as though im going to come on, wondered if thats normal? also keep getting mild waves of nausea especially during the night and early afternoon.

Im planning on doing Slimming World throughout and stickin to it as much as poss as im already bording on overweight ( my bmis about 25) and find it very hard to lose weight.

Congratulations! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months :)
As for the cramps, the day before I got my BFP I bought all my usual sanitary products as I was convinced I was coming on, it was OH who chucked the test in the trolley lol. Get used to them, they'll plague yur life and be the cause of lots of anxiety over the coming months ;)

cramps are something you'll get very used to honey. you'll go through both 'oh god, i've got cramps something is wrong' to 'oh god, i haven't got cramps, something is wrong'... it sounds silly but it will happen :)

congratulations on your bfp :D

Phew thanks for that, im obsessing abit over eptopic pregnancys a close friend had one not so long ago and was extreamly poorly with it and in hospital for quite a while so its worrying me abit. I was awake for nearly 2 hours in the middle of the night with it last night but took some paracetamol and it seemed to ease off. thanks for the advice! x

stretching pains are really common hon. your ligaments are getting stretched. my biggest piece of advice to you. the BIGGEST. is never EVER google your symptoms. ever. no matter how curious you are, look it up in a book. i googled my symptoms, got myself in a horrendous state thinking i had an ectopic, ended up being scanned and it was just a stubborn ligament. if you end up really worried then always get checked out. but avoid google!! ha. i will now not use it for anything pregnancy related!!

Hey there

Just popped in to say welcome to the forum. As the others said, what your feeling is normal, you could try a wee heat pack if it gets bad too, sometimes that helps ease it.

Congrats on your BFP I due the 24th sept, I had terrible cramps and pains when i got this BFP, and i like you thought whats happening even though this my 4th.
