I'm on SS for 6 Weeks, do I have to have a Add a meal week on the 6th week. With 3 CD + a 300-400 calorie meal. Is it obligated to do it? And how are the losses?

I don't have so much information about this. But I know people that do it on the 3rd week or the 6th week. But some doesn't do it. But is it good to do it. So your body can begin by maintaining the smaller portions meals etccc :-S

If u have some info about this. I'll be glad that U can share it with me :)

Hi hun - wow! Looks like you're doing really well, congratulations on all those pounds lost!

The trouble with trying to advise you on this one is that, if I remember rightly, you're not on the UK version of Cambridge are you?

So I guess it might be a bit different. Here in the UK, it used to be that every fifth week was add a meal, but now you can stay on SS for twelve weeks (so long as your BMI is above 25 for the whole of that time) and then you have to do a week of 810 calories.

Not sure if that info's gonna help you much though. Is there any support provided from the supplier of your Cambridge products?

Maybe look online ?

My CDC says 12 weeks or can be stretched to 15 before add a meal.

Personally, I'm not going to but that is my choice & not him telling me :)

The 810 meal should be added on week 13 this is a requirement of the diet. It cannot be extended until week 15 as it will contravene the Guidelines.

Hi

As Cambridge varies from country to country in its formulation and rules surrounding VLCD's as laid down by that Country you need to contact your Distributor and discuss this with them.

Good luck with your diet.:)

Okay, I've had a read. But I can't see anywhere that it tells you that you can do SS for 6 weeks anyway.

On the fast plan you do two weeks SS then move to the regular plan, which includes that 300-400 calorie meal you're talking about.

Just wondering - are you trying to use the UK Cambridge 'rules' with the US Cambridge products? It's probably best to stick to the US 'rules', IMHO, cos the nutritional composition of the UK version of Cambridge is different to that of the US version. The UK version is safe to use as a sole source of nutrition for up to 12 weeks. I'm not sure that the same can be said of the US version (I'm not saying it isn't though - just that I don't know :)).
