What is your motivation at the moment?

Mine is a blouse of my mums. lol I don't like a lot of her stuff but I do like this one so I brought it home with me. She is on CD too and has gone from a 20-22 to a 14 and I have gone from a 32 to a 20-22 on the bottom half but 24 on the top cos of my tummy.
I really want to wear this blouse when I go back to see her in 6 weeks time. I need to lose a couple of inches before it will fasten.
Question for those of you to do the measurements - as I never have... is this possible? Can I lose a couple fo inches if I stick to it?

Aside from that... the day has started with the washer flooding the floor... however, nothing is going to get to me! I am on a mission!

Our bodies change at its own rate but losing these couple stubborn inches should be perfectly achievable.
You dropped so many sizes already - your blouse will be fitting in no time - I'm sure. What's more in a near future it will soon be too big yet again. Beauty of the CD!

Week started well for me. I am still going strong and feel v. motivated. What's keep me going most? Is seeing results on scale (I know this fluctuates constantly) and being able to squeze into my old clothes (not to mention being able go shopping for a new ones in much smaller size!)

I hope you all doing well my CD friends.

Not sure I could put a finger on the one thing that is my motivation at the moment, there are countless things but I do find that this helps me along. I give myself so many mini goals such as getting my rings to fit again, losing 1 stone, 2 stone etc, hitting the next half stone, getting into a certain item of clothing ..... one of the strangest things lately that made me smile and gave me a spur was that I knew my boots had gone loose and my feet had shrunk but then found that I could slip them on / off (they're zipped ones) without undoing them - not buying any new ones though, just wearing extra socks ;)

my main motivation at the moment is my wedding in August :) I was hoping to be a size 14 by then , but I am now getting into 16's ( was a 24 ) already so may even get to a 12 ( OMG !!! I never imagined being a 12 .. I have not been a 16 since I was about 15 ( now 32 ) so it was hard to imagine that too ... :)
I am feeling good and cannot wait till WI on thursday asits my first week on CD SS+ (after swapping from lipotrim ) and I am dying to see what the results will be like as I feel like I am stuffing myself with the lovely shakes , bars and the meal I have on this plan .....
all good today so far :)

Hi Ladies,

I have fallen off the CD wagon -- but tried to be "good" whilst focusing on my friend in the NCCU. He is doing well -- a true medical miracle.

I plan on jumping back onto the CD wagon and also redirecting myself to other commitments on Wednesday -- which is the first day of Lent. I thought it appropriate as I have had recent first hand experience of how precious and fragile life is -- and that there is much to be thankful for in this life.

I hope to cut out a few of the deadly sins -- greed (CD will help with this), sloth (I should get an energy and motivation boost from the diet), and who knows where else I can improve!

I hope that everyone enjoys Mardi Gras tomorrow (better to think of it that way -- and not pancake day -- when you are doing a diet). lol
