Original Lunches?

Hi fellow slimmers!

I have recently joined this forum, and its been such an inspiration to see people reach their goal! Anyhow, I am really struggling to find things I can have for lunch and hope you can help.

I have been taking a boring old sandwich every day, but I am getting tired of eating the same thing. I hope you guys can give me some great ideas - baring in mind I can't heat anything up! :eek:

I tend to make enough dinner the night before and use the left overs for lunch the next day, cous cous with tomatos cucumber and peppers thrown in is always good for lunch, the other one i like is cottage cheese and a big salad with that i'll have some laughing cows and ryvita too :)
 
i have a mugshot and a mullar light yogurt at work when im on a early but when im on a late i tend to have sw chips with something or jacket potato before i go to work(im a shift worker)

I do mainly original days and used to take a home made salad to work each day until I got too lazy to prepare them in the mornings!

I now usually take a packet of ham/chicken etc and eat this with a couple of Laughing Cow EL triangles and some tomato or cucumber. I sometimes have Ryvita if I have a HE to spare, and always 3 pieces of fruit.

If you can't heat anything up, you could also perhaps take a flask of soup?
 
I was going to say soup as well, slinkydreams!

Home made vegetable soup gets you loads of superfree, speed foods and is really filling. Make it nice and hot, fill a flask and enjoy. Take a HE-B of wholemeal bread too, if you like.

Pasta and couscous salads are brilliant for lunches. I like chopped cucumber, spring onion and cherry tomatoes in mine. Or mix through cold roast veggies.
 
red day lunches are certainly harder - I do a lot of chicken drumsticks (skin off of course) with something like a tandoori marinade, lamb koftes or tuna stuffed peppers. I think I am going to try the KFC chicken the SW way next week though, sounds great, with some syn free coleslaw!
