I think the people at Cambridge HQ should...

I think it would be a brilliant idea if someone brought out a Cambridge Diet Cookbook.

I have worked it all out in my head, it will have lots of ideas for ss+ all the way through to maintaining. It will also included a detailed list of everything we are allowed at every stage inc. spices/ herbs etc. so nobody is ever confused again.

Does anybody else think this is a good idea? Now all I need is a printing press, lots of money and some culinary skills.

DON'T STEAL MY IDEA (UNLESS I GET 50% OF PROFITS :p)

that would be fantastic great idea :D

They do have recipe cards, though don't know whether they will become obsolete now the new literature is out.

I've heard that the new booklets have more recipes in them (well the 810 does anyway so I should imagine the others do). Your CCs should have them in before long :)

Think it was time the booklets were updated and made more clear, and the recipes thing is a good idea. Bumped into my CDC a few days ago & she says there is now a special maintainers booklet, which is BRILLIANT - this is been the challenging bit for lots of us!

Oh that is good to know that they are updating the books, with a few more recipes. Also the maintainers book sounds fab. I had thought myself that a cook book would be a good advantage to the diet. I find the current book a little vague and not very accurate. I never understood the 'tablespoon' measurements for veg - they all weigh differently etc...???

There is a recipe section on the forum, I haven't used it but I have looked at it for future reference. It looks interesting and worth spending a day of minimins cooking when the time is right to move up!

Hugs x x x

ah yes, have heard of this elusive new literature. I shall look forward to seeing what it says.

Luckily enough I am still ss atm but am really eager to start cooking healthy meals from scratch so have been scouring previous posts and printing out all recipe/good ideas and all the things people think you can have but can't (sad I know!) so I do have my own sort of Cambridge cookbook-esque thing going on.

I'm sure someone must have suggested it before, but I guess it can't hurt and thanks Emma, i'm pretty new here and didn't realise there was a whole section for recipes - better not start looking until after I have done my house work cos I think I could be there for hours.

lol i have my own cook book, i spend HOURS scouring the net for recipie ideas that will fit, i then write them in my best handwriting onto card and put them in plastic pockets in a big ring binder, lol

There are now seperate booklets for each stage of Cambridge Weight Plan. The 810 booklets were only available to order from Friday 5th Feb so Cambridge Consultants should start receiving them from next week.

Re the cookbook, Cambridge are currently in the process of producing a cookbook the timescale has not yet been released, but hopefully will not be too long:)
