Quark- how do I use it please?!

I`ve just bought some quark, but not sure how I use it. Can I use it in savoury recipes?
I am making a curry tonight, could I use it instead of fromage frais or is it totally different?
Does it curdle when you heat it beacause the from frais does and it spoils my curry :(
Sorry for all the questions!!!
love Lucy xx

I use it to make a carbonara sauce, add a couple of egg yolks, & your bacon/ mushrooms/ whatever, & mix it in with your pasta - lovely!!! X

Good suggestion!! I will have to try this!!

I've just used some to make a smoked salmon pate (syn free on RED!!).

Packet of smoked salmon (200g - Tesco value)
1/2 tub of quark
2-4 tablespoons of fromage frais (didn't really keep track or use measuring spoons. Approximate amount, just to thin it slightly)

Seasoning

salt
pepper
lemon juice
smoked paprika (JUST A LITTLE!!)

Blitzed it in the blender. Took about 10 mins max!! (and that was probably because I was faffing around!)

If you're after something sweet, it makes a GORGEOUS little mousse

Take some quark, mix in with a satchet of white options hot chocolate, add a spoonful of sweetner, and vanilla essence, mix it all up, maybe add some mixed fruits like banana, strawberries, blueberries..it's GORGEOUS!

Another way to use Quark, is to add it to a 'jelly mousse'. We've often made the 1 sachet of sugar free jelly, made up to just half a pint and cooled and whisked with a 'matching' pot of Mullerlight yogurt.

If you add a pot of Quark and whisk it all well, it makes a much richer, more creamy dessert. And there is a big bowl of it for just ONE and a HALF syns!!!
