right here goes, I'm gonna start my own diary. I have decided to go public on this one and hope that writing my own diary will keep me on track, and show that i can curb myself from eating to much junk and eat healthy. I have always eaten a balanced meal at dinner time, just portion sizes have been, well maybe man sized. My main problems are during the day when choc bars and crisps and more choc bars are quick to grab and eat on the go, and again in the evenings when I'm relaxing the biscuit tin appears, and i can't seem to stop hand to mouth action. So i have decided to be honest and write every thing down. I started on Monday 1st Feb and want to keep my diary updated daily cause I'm so bad i will sneak in choccie and pretend to forget about it.

Monday: Day one

weigh in 15 stone 4 pounds (yikes )

breakfast - choc shake.
snack 1 - go ahead bar.
lunch - s/f meal bar.
snack 2 - s/f savory snacks
dinner - chicken stir fry and rice.
portion of ice cream ( i now
no this is a no no, but just being honest)

Tuesday:
breakfast - choc shake.
snack 1 - go ahead bar.
lunch - s/f meal bar.
snack 2 - walkers baked.
dinner - homemade shepherds pie
carrot and swede mash.
snack 3 - muller light.

Went to tesco today as they have the shakes on offer at £3 a tin, so i brought a tin of vanilla and a tin of strawberry to try, will make a change.
Only 2 days in and can honestly say am doing ok, not hungry and gnawing at my own arm yet.

wednesday:
breakfast - vanilla shake.
snack 1 - cheese dipper.
lunch - s/f meal bar.
snack 2 - walkers baked.
dinner - ham and egg salad. (no spuds)
snack 3 - muller light.

Thursday:
breakfast - strawberry shake.
snack 1 - go ahead bar.
lunch - s/f meal bar.
snack 2 - walkers baked.
dinner - homemade beef casserole,
mash potato, green beans.
snack 3 - s/f caramel bar.

Have had a rough day :sigh: with dear teenager today, but managed not to hit the biscuit tin (or teenager, jokes). Got super size v super skinny book from the library on Tuesday and had a look at it earlier, good job i did cause it talks about emotional eating, and why we do it, and boy could i have eaten so much choc today. Now I'm a bit more chilled i realize i would have been so upset with myself if i had of caved in, because i wasn't at all hungry just emotional, so a good:cry: saved the day. I'm going to get into my pjs and tuck up in bed with a book. Really need to swap some of my snacks for fruit instead of what i am having. Ah well tomorrow is another day. x

Sunday:

haven't filled in for a few days, stayed more or less on track, had a toast moment on Saturday. I am feeling quite hungry at the moment even though i have just had my dinner, but then I'm bored at the moment and in one of those teenage moods where i can't be arsed.:sigh:

breakfast - chocolate shake.
snack 1 - walkers baked.
lunch - s/f meal bar.
snack 2 - s/f caramel bar.
dinner - roast beef and veg.

need to change my snacks, should have more fruit instead of chocolate bars and baked crisps. I found a slim fast book that i brought some time ago in a draw, it gives more ideas of foods to eat, so will be having a good look through that.
I think for now though I'm probably better off going and reading a book that i can get ingrossed in as i feel like i could eat for England tonight.

Tuesday:

Well i had a chicken binge, had 6 chicken
drumsticks, just couldn't resist them. Apart from this i had pretty much the same things for breakfast and lunch as i normally have, suits me having my main meal in the evening with the family. Had a homemade chicken curry with rice. Learning to have smaller portions which is a good thing. Hoping tomorrow goes better have felt quite hungry today, well starving really.
