SS+ Lean roast beef??

I am currently on SS+ and usually have tuna salad etc for my 200cal meal. Today I had some lean roast beef and lettuce. Is this okay?

Hi!!

I think your better off sticking to the recommendations..ask CDC for clarification on this!

sure..

here it goes

120g chicken or turkey breast
190g cod haddock or white fish
250g steamed tofu
200g quorn
180g tuna in water
225g cottage cheese reduced fat

one of those options with two tablespoons of any veges cooked or raw

asparagus
legumes
broccoli
cabbage
celery
cucumber
spinach
cauliflower
courgettes

no added salts..but you can use low-fat low-calorie dressing..i use Kraft light salad dressings ..yum yum!

the key thing is that the meal is green/white!

Thanks - do you think the beef is something that could make me gain?

It probably won't make you gain - but I suspect the reason it isn't is allowed is because there'll be more calories in beef than chicken. Also, depending on how it was cooked, there might be more salt, which might cause a water retention effect.

Best to stick to what's in the book. Have you actually got a copy of the pink/yellow books? If not, then you need to ask your CDC for copies. He/she should have given them to you at the start of the diet.
