Well done me

Hi,
Please forgive me my forum friends for starting a thread just to congratulate myself. After years of telling myself I'm rubbish and loathing myself when I saw my reflection in the mirror. I am learning it doesn't help and that it's OK and actually good to say. Well done me !!
I was hoping to get below 14 stone for the New Year but came off track over xmas and put on 9lbs going up to 14.13 lbs. It was a bit of a struggle but I stuck with it and got back on the programme.Today I weigh 13.12 !!!! Hoooorah!!!! I am now under 14 stone.If I had given up I dread to think where I would be. I still have 2-3 stone to lose but I'm so glad I didn't give up after a lapse at xmas.This gives me hope that I can manage my weight better when I am back in the world of food instead of being all or nothing like I have been before.

well done you indeed its always the mind over matter thing tho isnt it...if your strong in mind and determined then nothing will get in the way of your success....if something comes along and your undermines that determination and your not 100% committed to losing weight, then you can almost guarantee that yourll cave in...speaking from experience lol

saying that, going to have another go at exante as i have a lot i want to accomplish this year and putting it off wont do it will it!

Yes, you are definitely allowed to congratulate yourself. Getting back on the wagon is difficult (I know, I put on 23lb before I mananged it) but you have done it.Not only that, you've hit a goal too.

CONGRATULATIONS at getting into the 13s. It feels so good to see a smaller number at the front doesn't it. May your determination carry you through to your ultimate goal and beyond (especially the latter!).
Look forward to seeing less of you over the coming weeks and months, lol.

You absolutely deserve to congratulate yourself - and I will too - CONGRATULATIONS - I know how much it means to get to the next stone down, you really feel you are making progress. Keep it up, you are doing fantastically well.
