Is it nearly October yet?
Hi everyone, have been reading all your diaries for a few weeks now and think I would like to start my own. Have been pissing about for the last week and a half now and havnt lost any weight :( Cant seem to stick totally to points, im always two or three over and think i will catch up tomorrow and then i dont. I let myself have some leeway on my birthday and too be honest ive kind mucked about since then.. nothing major or massive binges just maybe not weighing stuff and being a bit to free with myself. Can someone please kick my ass and make me behave.LOL I feel great in myself with my figure tbh and my size 14s are now loose, but the scales and my BMI still say im fat??? Cant figure it out, although the BMI is a crap indicator of obesity risk factors and many health professionals want it swapped to waist/hip ratio, biy I cant get old habits to die. Sorry to ramble its all in my head. Just cant seem to get the scales to budge past where they have been for two weeks, im seriously thinking of going back to CD.

Oh well my cross trainer is being returned to me today maybe some excersice will help, if only I knew where to put the bloody thing!!:D

Can you talk to your WW leader? Maybe it's a plan to have some free foods lurking about or something slightly lower in points as brekkie?

Thanks Coley I know you are right,CD didnt really agree with me. I like the quick weight loss though!! LOL God im a whinge. Hope your having a nice day and not too stressed with all the work you have to do just now :) Talk to you later x

Dont go rushing back to CD until youve really given WW a go. By your own admission you havent been sticking to it :) How many points are you on a day??

Is there a particular time of day when you want to eat more, for me its the evenings so I always make sure Ive got extra points left for snacks then.

Im sure between us all we can give you plenty ideas for low point snacks.

Hang in there, WW is without question slower than CD etc but it DOES work - if you stick to it ;)

Everything you are saying is correct and i know it! LOL Just need to give myself a stern talking to. Im on 20 points a day and to be honest its the evening for me also when im in the mood to eat rubbish. Ive cheered up a bit though and have just made some zero point soup and had fruit and yog for lunch with a couple of matzos so im not hungry at all just now. I think if I can just stick to it today I will be totally back on track again. Thanks for the encouragement :)
 
Ive found lots of low fat goodies for evenings,

A packet of Melba toast (6 slices) and a WW cheese triangle is only 1.5 points.

A WW citrus yoghurt and a chopped apples - 1 point

Meringue nest with LF Creme fraische and fruit - 2 points

Potatohead crisps - 1.5 points

The list goes on lol Ive found what works for me, which I know doesnt work for others, is to have a really good supply of things in. I have loads of snacky things, chocolate, crisps, ice cream, popcorn all sorts. I find so long as I know I have plenty of stuff available I dont have the same urge to eat it. My problem is when I get a craving and I dont have the right thing in then thats when Im in danger of going off the rails, its a sort of security thing I suppose.

And remember we're all here too if you need a kick up the backside or a shoulder to cry on, or anything in between ;)

You maybe think you can reduce your points during the day? slightly lower pointed stuff so that when you're at the end of the day you'll have a few to play with and so you can have something bigger.

Does that make any sense? still at work, brain fried!

Don't keep beating yourself up, you've done so well so far!

Starlight posted some excellent 'snacking' suggestions there. I love love love meringue nests - especially with strawberries - it's so sweet!

How are you getting on so far?

You maybe think you can reduce your points during the day? slightly lower pointed stuff so that when you're at the end of the day you'll have a few to play with and so you can have something bigger.

Hiya Coley, Im doing ok today have got my free soup for later so can have a three course dinner tonight, with a WW oval pizza. Yummy!!!! the spicy chicken one is lush. Have also decided to start with a walking/jogging plan that came free with the Sunday papers so im raring to go.:D Hows you day going so far? Doing any new and exciting things with your rations?:giggle: xxx

ooooooooough!! so jealous.....I want pizza!! although on to my hated 1000 plan. boooooo!! baked potato tonight!! yummers! have only had 1 choc mint ration....made into slop. lol. I'm such a weirdo.

Just got hot new delivery driver!!! have you seen him? the ANC guy...he drops stuff at your work all the time!

Sommerfield along the road from us have some innocent smoothies reduced just now...so I'm going to hop along - cause I can't be bothered to make my own smoothie and the cals are the same.....and it's only fruit in it and nowt else. I loooooooove innocent smoothies!!!:D:D:D

Exams.....plus, totally knackered all the time the last few weeks/months, sleeping in excess of 14 hours a day just now, getting distracted in the middle of sentences and lack of concentration. Off to the docs tomorrow to see if they can give me some advice!!

Sounds like maybe you need to try to take things easy, maybe working hard and stress due to exams isnt a good mix with a VLCD, maybe you should go up to 1200kcals program until everything settels down. Take care and look after yourself sweetie. :)
 
Blaaaaaa!! oh I dunno. I strangely don't feel stressed? Can't concentrate enough to do any proper revision which is odd cause ketosis really agrees with me and clears my head.

Although...ketosis gone today cause of 1000 plan!! eeeeevil. But I am prepared and I have my munchies. All is fine. What a miserable day though!!

Morning everyone, im sat at home today as my little girl has been throwing up since 5 this morning:sick: (wish it was me instead might undo some of the damage I have done over the last week) Although she is now bouncing about in the way kids do when they make miraculous recoveries LOL.

Anyway ive decided to have a very light day today and try just to have friut smoothies today, last night I put some in a crystal cocktail glass a la sex and the city to make it more enjoyable to drink. I have bought some innocent smoothies as they have nothing but nothing but fruit apparentley!! Had a bowl of special k to get my metabolism going and will try just to drink smoothies for the rest of the day since im not doing much anyway.

Have no idea how much I weigh but im dreading that ive gone back into the 12s again although I could be overestimating my overeating HAHA. Might slink on the scales tomorrow.

Also still cant get the flippin title of my thread changed?? I did what Coley said but somehow it isnt working????? I keep just opening the thread. Hope everyone is having a nice day. xxx
