Has anyone tried Quorn Italian Style meatballs? They are in the freezer section and free on Extra Easy!

I wrote about them on my blog if anyone is interested. Really enjoyed them with pasta and sauce for my tea!

I haven't tried the quorn ones but I doubt if they can beat the Asda ones - they are just gorgeous, absolutely to die for!

I love the sainsburys meat free ones :) we usually have them as a direct substitute for meat ones with spaghetti sauce, i can't fault them, I think they really take on the flavour of the onions and garlic in dishes like this, which is what sets them apart from the other quorn items that you might not cook in sauce.

i love the quorn ones, i put them in with batchelors pasta and cooked them that way, and they were yummy :). xx

I don't like the quorn meatballs, they're too squishy, I much prefer the Asda meatfree ones, they have a better texture and are worth the small syns.

I have some in the freezer but am yet to try them. Will do on Sunday I think! X

As a vegetarian I prefer Asda Meat Free Mince/Sainsburys Meat Free Mince to Quorn Mince (although my sister who is also a vegetarian prefers Quorn mince), all down to personal taste. TBH I have not had the meatballs from Asda although I cook them for my son - will try them this week.:p
I like the Quorn Roast, chicken style pieces and their meat free sliced 'meats'
Meat free burgers - Quorn, Asda or Sainsburys are all nice - depends on what I can buy. The vegetarian range in our local Asda can be very limited - so annoying at times.

I LOVE the meatballs, although they are a little more expensive than the pieces and mince so I don't buy them much.

I find the quorn meatballs quite expensive and 1 bag wouldn't feed myself, my boyfriend and 2 girls so might try the ASDA meat free ones. How much are they? Having about 30 in a bag would be fab!
