Fussy....help!!

Hi all! :)
I'm just hoping that some of you can help me. I've just joined SW last week and want to loose at least a stone and a half really, possibly more. Saying this I am quite a fussy eater and am finding a lot of things quite hard, as well as finding ideas suitable to my taste. :sigh: This then makes me have some bad days where I want to pack it in!!

I'm also not very good in the kitchen so simpler ideas would be great!!!
I like all meats, potatoes, fruit, sauces etc but not keen on the idea of tomatoes, cheese or pasta mainly.
Any ideas/recipies would be wonderful!! (I'm on Extra Easy plan)
Please help! Thanks very much!! x :flirt2:

hello,
your best bet would be to have a look int he recipe, and food diary section you will get loads of ideas

I too am a fussy eater and not willing to spend hours in the kitchen! Cottage pie is always good. I use Quorn mince as I do green days. Put some veggies in it. You can also make SW chips and have free or low Syn sausages or bacon and eggs with them. I love making potato wedges and just add some seasoning.

Thanks for all your replies, only just getting chance to reply so sorry for the delay.
Mella - I enjoy sweet and sour chicken but tend to use the jars of sauce that you mix in with chicken. I also enjoy rice but have been struggling to find a nice sauce to have with it, something such as a sweet and sour sauce you'd get in a chinese!! I also want a simple curry recipe but am finding the ones on here quite a shock to the system as I'm not used to cooking and also don't know what some ingredients are...such as passatta!! How can I make a spagetti bologneise that isn't too hard to understand and also isn't too tomatoey?!!
Taz - how do you make your wedges? I wouldn't mind trying them!
Thanks ever so much to you all! All coments gratefuly recieved!! :)

Pasatta is just the seived tomatoes so its smooth unlike the tinned chopped tomatoes.
Wedges you just cut your potatoes up either skin on or off depending on if you want rustic or not into wedges(chips) and par boil them for abt 10 mins then drain and put pan lid back on and shake to get starch out and make them fluffy when cooked. You then get baking sheet and spray with frylight and put potatoes on to then spray them and season if you want and cook in oven till ready but keep checking and turning them and spray when needed with more oil.

ok thanks!! you don't happen to know a simple chicken curry recipe do you? or something i could have with chicken breast tonight??!!!

I just did a warm chicken and bacon salad that was simple you just cut up the chicken and bacon and fry in a non stick pan till cooked then add chopped spring onion and halved cherry tomatoes to pan for 5 mins then add balsamic vinegar and heat through and serve onto bed of spinach or mixed lettuce leaves.

I don't even par boil my wedges. I do with the chips but wedges I just cut into, well... wedges, spray a tray with fry light, add garlic salt, put the wedges on and spray the tops with frylight. In the over for 30-40 minutes. Jobs a goodun!
