Morning happy campers

ill start from beginning i think, week 1 i weighed 16.6 then went to get weighed for first wi and only lost 2lbs but that was 2 weeks (closed due to snow) now tonight im due to get weighed.

I no you shouldnt go on scales at home but they the same as class, so i popped on this morning and it was 16.7 im worse than what i started grrrrr :cry::cry:. Im really considering in not going but have a countdown i seriously dont know what to do.

I love ee, eating that sort of different food but its obvious it doesnt work for me , this is my third attempt and nothing again, i mean i have had not just 1/3 on plate but nearly 1/2 of superfree foods, i have drank more water not diet pepsi all time, and geting rid of it cos cant stop on toilets, i only have 1 a+b i dont go over and weigh everything, all syns been 10-12 for past 2 weeks.:confused:

I dont eat much anyways maybe 2-3 meals a day i could easily got for 1 big meal at night if i had a choice but im makin sure im eating, im really considering in joining ww again but i no ill be restricted and then i will want more food grrr i just cant win.

green after few days i find boring and red im starving, i seriously dont think there is anything else i can do, i no im not putting on if i sts but thats 3 weeks at only 2lbs, i would be happy with 1lb a week but dont think im going to get that with ee , I do post a diary in dairy section.

Surely im not eating to much veg, cos i have stop the fruit to see if the melon was not helping

Its a good job im in good mood lol even though my toes still sore grrrr have a good day all and ill shall report later if go to wi :rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
Hi,

I think you should definately go to WI! When i havent been before it starts a spiral of not wanting to again. At least if you do you'll know where you are and can sit down with your consultant discuss your food diarys and worries and she/he will be able to help you to move forward.

It is very frustrating when you feel like your trying your hardest and nothings happening and i sympathise. Just dont give up!!

yes go to wi i did this on monday night and the wii fit told me i had put on 2lbs when i got to wi on tuesday i had lost 1.5 pounds so wait till wi and see what happens i went to have a look at your food diary but cant seem to find it :mad:

You should go to WI if you dont you know you will go back to old habits and the weight will go on. Have you tried eating 6 small meals/snacks a day. I eat every 2 hours , might only be a couple of yogurts or fruit and then breakfast/lunch/dinner you may just need to try to speed up your metabolisim. go be strong, you have to find a solution and the only way is to go to WI and speak with C.

Hi I've just had a look at your diaries, and they look fine to me. Not that I'm an expert!

I can sympathise, as I've only lost 2 and a half pound on EE so far in 2 weeks, but wi is tonight, so hoping for another 1lb or 2.

I would go, as you've paid for a countdown, and if you don't go, you may be tempted to go off plan altogether.

I'm going to look at my weight loss for a month, rather than week by week. I've decided if I lose 4 lb per month, I'll be happy.

I'm the same as you, have tried red and green in the past, and struggled with both of them. WW is ok for a few weeks, but then I feel hungry and deprived. I like EE and keeping thinking if my weight loss averages out at 1lb a week, that's a lot off in a year!

Please go to your WI tonight - I know you say your scales are the same but they could be wrong, go and see what happens, it is always better to face it rather than give up I think. If you are not happy with your weightloss either then please speak to your consultant and ask them to help you out, that is what they are there for, also the other members might be able to give you some advice. Please don't give up - the plan does work but I have to say I am an oldie on it so I don't do EE I only do original or green.

I got weighed on my own scales before my wi on monday and they said i hadnt lost anything,,, got to class and have lost 2Lb,, 7.5Lb in 2 weeks on extra easy x good luck x
 
had a look at your food and yes they look good but i have way more to eat just like u sometimes skip break but make up for it later but the weeks that i eat from the min i get up till the min i go to bed seem to be the weeks i have best lose hope all goes well when u do wi :)
 
I definately advise grazing, the weeks I lose more are the weks I take mountains of food to work and graze all day long. Fruit salads, mullers, whole fruit, then lunch, a hifi bar, mini babybel lights, dinner. And vary your hex's, if you usually have bread/cereal, try something different, soup or dried fruit/nuts.
 
We had this in class last night with a lady. Our consultant said if you didnt eat breakfast ( within 2 hrs ) when you wake up you will not lose the weight. It is because your body thinks its in starvation mode so no matter what you eat even if its just fruit, you wont lose as your body holds onto it because it doesnt know when the next frood will come. Im not a breakfast person but i make sure i have a piece of fruit when i get up, just to break the fasting cycle. Also ee just might not work for you, a lady at our class tries it once a month because she really wants to do it ( easier for family mealtimes ) but when she does she gains.

Please go to weigh in, at least you know where you stand xx You know we are all here for you

I never eat breakfast within 2 hours of getting up - I get up at 6am and have breakfast at work at 8.30am, in between I have a couple of cups of black coffee - I wonder if I ate earlier I might lose a bit more..hmmm:rolleyes:

I never eat breakfast when i first wake up, it makes me feel ill. My consultant said to me if you can face breakfast drink a glass of milk as this stops the cycle. Maybe your coffee does the same?
 
UPDATE!!!!!!

You no i said i was in good well now im in a bad mood

I only went and put on 1.5lbs im so gutted :cry::cry:

My C said there is nothing he can really suggest, so after 3 weeks of trying ee again its failed, and he said go back to green like you did where you lost weight in past, but i dont want to do green or red i like ee and im not eating loads neither.

I just wanna cry i seriously do, my kids are gobsmacked and they said how the hell you put on mum, you been an angel so far this year. i love them to bits

i just feel like giving up and maybe im doomed to be fat for rest of life i cant see any other option.

If i try one day red one day green i aint gonna lose am i? i dont really wanna do that as i no i will feel miserable on diet.

So sorry Jacquie! Please don't give up.. eat loads of Super Speed food. You will lose.
I totally disagree about breakfasts. I almost never eat breakfast and mostly my first meal is at night and I have lost more weight doing it this way than forcing myself to eat in the morning or whenever I did not feel like it.
We are all different but not having breakfast works for me.
 
I disagree with the consultant that says not having breakfast will stop you losing weight. This is nonsense because it's a basic calories in versus calories out calculation.

However I do think that having breakfast does the same way as exercising first thing in the morning to kick start your metabolism to burn calories for the rest of the day. Not having breakfast is just another bad habit that people have got into, and like any other it can be changed and will make a difference to your concentration levels.
 
our consultant says we can swap red and green days all the time - if you stick to the correct rules for each day you will still lose weight.

i had one week where i had 3 green, 2 red and 2 EE days! i lost 2lbs!!!!

Please don't give up. I stuck to the plan 100% last week and gained 0.5lb - I can't comment on this week because WI is tomorrow but I definately feel lighter!
 
I'm sorry to hear you put on that must be so frustrating when you know you've been good. It is quite strange as you've followed it perfectly! EE didnt work for me so im with Green and Red days, you can alternate the days as you wish.

I think you should stick to it, you must have a lot of will power to have stuck to it already for 3 weeks with no result. If you go back to green and red days on red make sure you utilise your HE and eat losts of fruit to fill you up - you can take strips of chicken breast to munch on aswell.

You say green is boring after a few days but it can be quite like EE if you use Quorn recipes, there's so many different recipes on here for Green days - why not have a look through a few of them for inspiration. After all its easier to fix bordem than hunger!

Hope this helps, please dont feel bad. If you've managed to get to a place where you realise your not happy with your weight but are trying to do something about it its half the battle. You should be proud, and it seems you have the support of your kids and their routing for you 2!!
