Hi all , i'd like to try extra easy but as i dont go to a group i'm really worried about it.
From what i have worked out through reading on here and in the magazine.
You can have what is free on both red and green days but eat more of super free food ( that are free on either day ) with all meals and your allowed 1 Healthy extra of A and B.
Is this right?
i really dont want to mess it up i tried it yesterday so i could eat a roast without worrying too much ( did have high syns though as had the extras such as gravy stuffing and a yorkshire ).
I'm just hoping someone could reassure me please.
Thankyou all in advance.

Nearly right - superfree foods are only fruit and veg that are free on both red/green days and these should make up one third of your meal, either as ingredients, side servings or dessert.

Don't forget you are allowed 5 to 15 syns a day.

And if you need to calculate the syn value of something you take it as the lower of the red/green days figures.

Thankyou circes, if i give you the example of the dinner i had yesterday as iv understood it ( i know i'm sounding a bit stupid right now but trying to get it straight in my head lol )

roast pork fat removed, dry roast potatoes and parsnips, peas ( all free ) brocoli, carrots, cabbage and swede ( superfree ).

i hadn't thought about the syn part ie taking the lower syn, so thankyou for pointing that out.

......also it's only 2 healthy extras a day, 1 x a and 1 x b.
