I know i said in a recent post that i wasnt going to buy any clothes bcause of the amount of clothes/jeans i have that I WILL get into, but i did buy a few bits today and they were bargains and one of the items is a size smaller than i would of bought;)

love buying new clothes, but am so far resisting. I have so much in the loft / wardrobe that doesn't fit and am determined to get into it.

I have just cleaned out my wardrobe into clothes that fit now and clothes that WILL fit when im finished. I have hung a lovely size 12 dress in my room for inspiration. I am hopefully starting CD soon. Duncan where is west sussex you from? Im from Burgess Hill if you know of it?

Ive kept hold of fave jeans from years ago like a size 12 i got in after i was ill but before that i cant remember when i last fitted in them, also got some skinny jeans and normal jeans and work trousers in a size 14 from new look which i bought in December before i had to come off plan for a while.... hoping its not long before i can get into them :)

I dont intend on buying anymore though lol, i can get a bit carried away hehe

That's brilliant - such a good feeling moving down sizes!! Well done.

I had to go and buy new clothes - I literally had nothing in smaller sizes - as I've been quite big for some time.

Even tho I put on weight over Christmas, and I've started back on CD last Friday - I had a bit of a boost yesterday - i was wearing my skinny jeans (size 12) with my knee length boots (size 7 and a half - hahahaha), a size 12 polo neck top with a sheer floaty top over it which was a size 10!! Yep, a size 10!! (I know it was floaty - but it had an elastic bottom to it - oh i know I'm no Trinny and Susannah and my description of my top sucks!!) My sister in law said that I was still shrinking... i wish!

Shame in my head i still feel like a size 20. I need a head doctor to get rid of these thoughts... dammit - i'm a size 12!! Get it into your thick head.

OK. Mini-rant over. I hope someone out there knows where I'm coming from because I'm feeling strangely weird about how i feel and what i look like.

Hi LV30 -- For years I had the opposite problem: I thought I was still thin when I was huge! I catch sight of myself in a shop window from time to time and actually be shocked! Talk about denial! Now, I'm up about 1.5 stone from where I want to be (and should be) and this time I am not going to allow myself to live in denial. So, getting back to the thread... I have not been as good as could or should be since my Jan. 4th restart on CD... so, I am taking the boy's size 18 (about a UK 8/10) jeans I was wearing last year at this time and making myself try them on every other day! And, I will leave them hanging on the back of my bedroom door -- so they are pretty much the first and last thing I see at night (unless DH starts to snore, then I may give him a good-bye kiss before I put the anti-snore pillow over his face). LOL
