Wholemeal bagel?

Anyone know what the syn value on a wholemeal bagel from Sainsbury's is please?

Also, being wholemeal, I am wondering whether it has enough fibre in to be classed as a healthy extra? I highly doubt it, but I have emailed Sainsbury's to ask for the NVs, and then will contact SW! But I can't find what the actual NVs are online anywhere at the moment so I can't use the syn calculator.

Thanks

No I can't find it online I'm afraid. You are 11.5 syns for an average 85g white bagel as they are dense and therefore heavy. Even if it were allowed as a HEB which it isn't you could probably one have half of one going by these syns.

Cheers Circes. I love bagels and I know white ones are mega-syns! I think I was hoping wholemeal may be less.

I might call sw next week from work to double check.

Once I find out what the actual fibre content is from Sainsbury's, that might help! I bet there's no chance of them being made a HE lol!
