WW meals - lunches??

chocolatecat

One day at a time :)
I just thought I'd post as I've read a lot of people saying thedy're struggling with the cold weather and wanting to eat healthy stuff when its so cold - WW frozen meals are very low cal for what they are (between 200-300) and they are really tasty!

I am sticking to WW meals for lunch either on it's on or with a bag of microwave steamed veggies. It really does fill the gap and feels warming and full of flavour!

My favourites are the ocean pie and the beef hotpot yum!

Its just an idea as it takes the need for counting cals away at lunch :)

Thanks for the reminder. When I last lost weight (2007 - pre baby) I lived on these meals as they are so easy and filling. The supermarkets usually have them on promotion as well so they work out quite cheap for lunch.

Going to stock up!

Just to let you ladies know, (I eat these too) Morrissons had loads of the frozen ones on offer for 70p each!

I have found a hot lunch at work seems to fill me up more and I can last till dinner-time. Every day so far for the last couple of months I have been having the Sainsbury's Basics range. My fave is their Spaghetti Bolognaise for 300 calories and it really tastes much more expensive than just 70 pence a pack. The others in their range are Macaroni Cheese, Beef Lasagne, Salmon and Potato pie and some others. I also bring a container of frozen brocolli, button sprouts or carrots to work to have with those meals. Less than £1 for a lunch of 300 calories or less for most of the range is brilliant.

Yeah, i try and have something warm for lunch in this weather. Cold sandwiches dont appeal to me much when its so cold outside.
M&S do a good range too, they are more pricey though. They do a vegetarian one with mushrooms and caramalised onions topped with creamy mash and it is gorgeous and only 260 cals.

Thanks guys :)

I really did like the beef hotpot from WW cos the potatoes in it are lovely :) yum! Think I'm gonna have one now... yum!
