came down this morning and the cats must have been up on the counter and they knocked my hand blender into the basin full or water in sink (i can't take off blade part so normally sit then end in the basin between uses). I pulled it out and water came spilling out of where the electric lead goes in  No! I thought. Hand blended shakes today!! Could I cope???? So queue much frantic shaking of blender to "squeeze" the water out. Finally came the moment of truth... i plugged it in thinking "is this it? electric shock time?" ... pressed the button and........ whhrrrrrrrrr.... off it went! :D

So now sitting down to my blended mocha breakfast shake.:D

i too would have been too scared...

but yay it works...

crikey your good, thats determination! My dad is a retired electrician and I can hear him now..............

Unfortunately it was only a temporary reprieve; smoke started coming out of it today as the motor ground to a halt

Dug out my old smootie maker and that seems to be doing the trick. And found one of those scales in the chemist (well one of the 8 chemists in town..... we only have one little main street, why we need 8 chemists i have no idea!) that does your weight and body fat etc and prints out a ticket. So just need to make sure I hit that weekly.

Problems Solved!

Well Done!

Although I must say you must have really been craving that shake! I would have chickened out!

was determined not to eat Chan! Knew if i had a "breakfast" it would knock me off plan a bit. Have just been to Tesco's and treated myself to a hand blender/whisk thingy ...well seeing as i'm not treating myself with chocolate :p

well done on the 5.7lbs for the 2 weeks!!!

Thanks Kes:) Feeling much less bloated even if you can't see a difference as yet
