Got girl friends coming tomorrow night and usually i would pig out on crisps and chocolate so i wanted to come up with SW friendly foods - anyone have any ideas along the lines of dorito chips, dips, buns, sweets????

any ideas most welcome

thanks in advance:D

Fruit kebabs or fruit cocktail sticks....... pop a grape, strawberry, cube of melon and half a kiwi slice on a stick :D

Scan Bran cake! It's actually not bad :D

You could make your own chicken nugget bites and put them on skewers. (chicken mince, garlic, herbs and different spices), bake in oven until cooked - there is a recipe on the sub forum for them and they really are lovely.
You could make your own dips - again see the recipe forum and add sliced carrots and cucumber sticks.
Make your own scotch eggs, again see recipe forum!!

Basically...check out the recipe section on here and Im sure there are loads of things that you could make Hun!

Have fun and Im sure everyone will comment about how great the nibbles are!

SW chips or wedges with a garlic and herb quark dip :D

brilliant girls thanks will look at other ideas on here too, think i will do bacon and cheese wedges, fruit skewers, lasagne chips, and some cookie or cake thing

thanks for help

chicken drumsticks
SW wedges with cajun seasoning
Quorn or low-syn sausage 'hot dogs' on wholemeal buns
homemade burgers
vegetable crudites and home made tzatziki (fat free nat yog with cucumber and mint sauce)
home made coleslaw (pre shredded coleslaw mix from Asda mixed with nat yog)
mini stuffed cheesy jackets (buy loose small jacket pots, par cook, scoop out flesh, mix with laughing cow extra light and some spring onion, salt and pepper, stuff and put back in the oven til crisp)
chili stuffed jacket skins (as above but halve then scoop and fill with SW friendly chili) - then you can make bubble and squeak cakes for breakfast the next morning with the leftover potato filling!

Er... i'm hungry now...

I always like a bowl of seafood (normally on a sunday lunchtime when having a drink), prawns, cockles, squid, with lots of vinegar and pepper.

Mix 2 sachets of options (any flavour, double choc is lush) into a tub of quark, you may need to add a little water to thin it out a bit........this is soooooo gorgeous they will never believe that it is diet food, serve it with strawberries, melon, pineapple etc to dip into it......try it you will never look back:p

wow excellent ideas thanks vixxter!!
