The CSA have been reassessing my claim.
My lad and I lodged with his father for a year or so as we had been living very very close to the house in Margate where they found the bodies of those 2 young lassies and we didn't want to stay there so we stopped the payments (which had been being paid direct to me).
I contacted the CSA when I moved out (my son's dad gets paid a fair amount but I had been getting a pittance). Before Christmas they came up with a payment schedule and I enquired about backpayments which had been on my form.
Apparently, when they reassessed it they 'closed' the case showing with no arrears to pay although the paperwork shows there are. As a result they can't enforce the back payments, just ask my son's dad to pay them. They total just over £2k. I know what my son's dads reaction to THAT will be.
Plus I had been told 1st payment would be just over £330. It turns out it will be £99.
