Cambridge Diet Info

Hiya
What do you want to know? Basically the diet is made up of various stages and depending on your weight loss and your goals you choose the "step" that suits you best. The majority of people on here are probably following what is known as SS or SS+. Sole Source. This basically (depending on height) means you consume three Cambridge Products a day plus a small white meat, green salad meal in the evening and water. Nothing else. This places you in ketosis, similar to the Atkins diet, and your body uses fat for energy hence you lose weight. It works like a dream. I lost 5 1/2 stone in 2006 and maintained reasonably well until I went abroad with work for the best part of 6 months and reverted back to old eating habits. Having said that I did not regain all of my weight and I am firmly back shifting the 3 1/2 stone I did!

Hope this helps - feel free to ask as many questions as you need to

Anyone thinks I have misinformed - please update!

Thanks

A xx

If you go on the Cambridge Main Website you can look up a local Consultant (they have been renamed!) in your area and then give them a call. Basically, they are the people who will supply your stock. They should at the very least weigh you every week and some even measure too. Hope this helps. It is not councelling like you may find with Lighterlife if that makes sense?

Just to add my 2 cents in, when I was searching for a diet program this last year one of the things that was important (obviously) was that it was safe. Your consultant will be able to tell you more but Cambridge is not a crash diet or a water fasting program. You get 100% of what your body needs as it relates to vitamins and minerals, and very little of what it doesn't need. Best of luck to you and I hope you find the program that suits you!

Funny you should ask! I've been taking the Cambridge shakes for about a month now without taking any vitamins or anything like that and the other day at the doc she ran a complete blood panel basically testing to make sure I wasn't toxic or deficient on any vitamins and everything was spot on! If you're looking for simple and easy, CD is definitely how you want to go. You don't have to keep a food diary, you don't have to wrack your brain about what you're going to fix for your self later, you don't have to worry about taking any supplements (unless you chose to of course). It really is a walk in the park in that respect. The challenge is of course sticking to it and avoiding a binge, as with any diet program.

I'm the wrong person to ask as I actually live in the US however i believe I've heard around 35 pounds or euro (I'm not sure and I cant make the cool symbol) per week. It'll vary by consultant I believe.

For me its right around $180 per month which is loads cheaper than when I buy groceries and eat out.

It depends by CDC and which plan you're placed on.

SS and SS+ can be anything from £35-£45 a week if charged at RRP (depending what you order, bars tetras are more expensive).

As your BMI is below 25 you're be placed onto a different plan. So your charge will be alot different.

You're best asking when you've contacted your CDC.
