Wow its coming down thick and fast here now (GLOS) got about 4 cm in half hour - and its forcast for quite a bit more continuing through the night!

What a joke they are running out of salt here in Glos and lots of other places ....only place that stores are ok is Worcestershire and Brum!!

How is it near you ?

It snowed heavy for about 30 mins here in Warwickshire, then stopped but is due to start shortly again, I am going home at 4 pm just in case, don't want to get trapped on the motorway. I know that most areas have "sufficient" salt for normal circumtances!! According to the news this morning! But what is "normal circumstances"!!

Started then stopped again here (Bath) - supposed to start again later which is annoying as have dentist tomorrow and really need to go!

Hey tracey we had about 2-3 inches of snow,but considering we are supposed to have enough grit here in worcs i havnt seen evidence of them using it!

Its not started here yet (just outside Portsmouth) but apparently going to get about a foot of snow tonight!!!!? Not looking forward to it really as wanted to go out and see Avatar with the bf! Hope eveyone is safe x

I'm in Worcestershire and it came down quite heavily this morning, we had about 4 inches. It's been on and off all day but we're supposed to have more tonight apparently!

I'm fine hun but only just got back to minimins and weight watching since last september when i gave up smoking - since then its all gone pear shaped or should I say Apple shaped....lol

Now got quite a bit to lose but am giving it a go which helps...;o) x

I'm in Birmingham, it's still snowing - main roads were OK when I left work at 4pm but I left my car at work as side roads are very treacherous. It took me 2 and a half hours to get about 2 miles through the snow before Xmas and I couldn't leave the car as I had all my food shopping in the boot! Wasn't going to get caught out like that again!

Just heard on the news that we are advised not to go out tomorrow unless we 'really have to' - wonder if my boss will think I 'really have to' go into work tomorrow!
