Anxious about restarting group... again......

Oh dear, Got to restart my diet and SW is the one that works for me....however feeling a dilemma coming on about weither to restart group on tues 5th or trying to go it alone.

:wave_cry:Feel so embarresed about yet another January rejoin- its been so many years that I have ended up here in Jan- I really should know better.

I do think I can loose more in the group ( v poor willpower on my own) - but I'm just so embarressed about seeing my old consultant again and all the other folks who are there year in and year out. I think its almost worse than joining up for the first time- having had some success and then putting it all back on.

Anyone else feeling like this- or any tips to help?

Jenny.

Don't be embarrased! SWC's see this time & time again. I've rejoined for the third time and they're always pleased to see you. No-one will judge - I haven't found SW to be like that. Go and rejoin, get the new books etc and you'll see everything will be fine!

I've rejoined so many times my old consultant came to my wedding!! I have recently rejoined a new class as the days of old class don't fit with me anyone as have other stuff on. At my most recent re join the new members chat there was no one there that wasn't a re join. You must remember you are not the only one who is rejoining & everyone in that group has probably re joined at some point in their weight lose journey

Hope that helps

I know the feeling, Im having a dilemma about whether to go to my old group- or start a new one which is a bit furthur away (extra few mins drive)

The only person who will be feeling nervous or anxious is you hun, your consultant will not judge you or make you feel awkward, just a warm welcome, so go along and take the plunge.

You'll be fine hun xx

Go on! I've had more comebacks than Frank Sinatra!

Everyone will be pleased to see you. All the consultants I know are delighted to see someone come back.

If for no other reason than the fact that you are a paying customer!! (sorry, being a bit cynical there)

You'll be made welcome and you'll get help and support......definitely go for it!

I felt the same and ended up opting to go to another class a mile or so further away.

So glad I did as it's like a completely new experience and I actually stay to class now rather than disappearing after weigh in.

Go for it and rejoin a meeting, this will be probably more benificial for you and keep you motivated week on week.

Well done !

Thanks everyone.
Gonna bite the bullet and go tomorrow- as long as not snowed or iced in- I live in a rural area and roads very bad at moment- currently -6.2 outside and not risking the roads yet this morn!

Did a sneaky WI myself this morning ( not been on the sclaes for a couple of months) - and actually about 4lbs lighter than last Jan- at least I'm not more than last time and that can only be a good thing!

Looking forward to shrinking myself.
