Day 98 Weigh-in tonight

I know, I know, I really shouldn't, but my scales always read within 1lb of my LLC's. I got on them and weighed 13st 5.5lbs. I started at 18st 2 on the 7th January this year.

This means that I have lost approximately 65lbs in 98 days!

I am over the moon. A friend took a picture of me in a night club last night, sitting next to a petite friend who has the same dimensions as Kylie Minogue and I looked NORMAL! I used to look twice the size of her in pictures.

I've gone from a 24 top and 22 bottoms to a 16 top and 14 bottoms (just - a teensy bit of a squeeze, but my 16 bottoms are now too big for me).

I am amazed that this was possible. I am so proud of myself for sticking to it all the way though - I am a few pounds away from being able to take riding lessons for the first time in years!

I need to thank Minimins for being there for me because I don't think I could have got through the first 6 weeks without reading all your posts and answers to my burning questions. I can't post whilst I'm at work because of message board restrictions and I don't have much time at home, but I do read the VLCD threads avidly!

But most of all I need to thank myself for being so strong! Congratulations to all the early January starters who have just got to their 100 days or are getting there this week!

Oh, Cerulean, well done! :bliss:

You must be so proud of yourself.. how much has your life changed in just a 100 days?

Enormously. More than I would like to admit actually! It feels strange to think that weight was holding me back and I would feel like I was letting my old self down to criticise myself for being the way I was - but I think with LL it's not just the weight, it's that fact that it helps you to demonstrate just what you are made of - who really believes when they first start that they will make it through to 100 days? I'm sure a lot of us have doubts especially as we may have tried and failed so many times before. It's amazing. The greatest buzz ever!

Cerulean your post was a joy to read. You've had a wonderful weight loss and it's great to read the positive ways in which it's affected your life. That photo of you and your friend will be one for you to treasure.

Well done :bliss:

Thanks Cath - it means a lot. The hilarious thing is that I have been taking naked pictures of myself every 4 weeks since week 1. I can't wait for the next set in 2 weeks time. I wish I could show everyone without getting arrested!

Well done you! It has been a joy to read your posts on you 100 day success. I so agree with everything quoted. This diet certainly brings out the inner stength that none of us foodies dare to think we might have!

Continued success to you!!:bliss:

And look at you go! Looks like we'll both be in this together for the next 100 days - here's hoping it flies by as quickly as the first 100!

Confirmed - 4st 10.5 lbs off. Just over 30 kilos in 14 weeks!

So pleased!

I don't have my before picture from LL yet and they also took it after I lost half a stone so it's not as big as I really was. But I'll see what I can do! And yes, WITH CLOTHES ON!
