Help with getting your water down

Minimin

Wants to Maintain Gd!!
I seemed to struggle with finding a good decent bottled water to keep my water drinkage in check and then found this one to be the best; Volvic Mini 1Litre sports cap bottle - Easy to carry around.

I sip from it during the day and I know I need to drink at least 2-3 bottles a day. Trying for 3 today! I hope!

The water-drinking was always what I struggled most with on LT and probably will on Exante as well. I found giving myself little goals helped too. Where I work we get a ten minute eye-break every hour and I'd try and finish my bottle before my break. Bathroom runs were hellish though! lol

Yes thats a really good idea. I did that today too and I found that helped. I set myself the goal of trying to finish a 1l bottle from my 2nd shake. It helps that I have drink 250ml with every 2 Fibre sure tablets I have to take to keep me regular.

Do you take anything like that?

Those 1ltr bottles are fantastic, i am also aiming at at least 2 or 3 bottles a day, but it is difficult lol.

I don't have to take anything like that - well I didn't on LT so I don't think I'll need it on this diet. Did have to take a few Dulcolax every so often after I'd been on LT for about 2 months though.

Just had a look at your ticker and had to say you're doing great! So nearly out of 'overweight' too! Good stuff :)

Yes the 1 ltr bottles are great....I drink water as soon as I get up in the morning, then have it with me on the train and drink throughout the day!

I find drinking from the bottle so much easier for some reason as opposed to a glass! Strange, but it just seems to go down better.

Thanks hun. I can't wait until I'm at your weight. You've done brill!

If I try and glug from a glass I end up wearing it rather than drinking it!

Yeah me too. I only discovered these bottles the other day in Tesco Petrol. I had to stand there for around 20 seconds thinking if it actually did have one litre in it! lol, People were walking past thinking why is she comparing 2 bottles of water!

Unfortunately I DID do well but then undid all my hard work so am starting again. I don't actually know what I weigh as I'm honestly too afraid to find out. Sad, eh? Just haven't updated my siggy yet. :( Thanks though lol :)

How much do you think youv'e put on? Either way those are amazing losses and shows you can do it again. When I did my first 4 weeks of LT and I got a bad absess on my back and got admitted into hospital and had to come off it. I went up about a stone and a half.

I honestly don't know. I'd hazard a guess at between two and three stone. I've been off it for about a year now I think (can't really remember tbh) and even though I know most of it is due to my own stupid fault and simply misbehaving when it comes to food I'm concerned because over the past month or so I've had a lot of stress at work and two jobs to deal with so have hardly eaten anything at all (honestly lol) and have still noticed my clothes getting tighter. May head to the docs in a few weeks to see if there is anything going on that I should know about as I'm pretty sure it's not normal to gain weight the way I have been. Still, I know it's impossible to gain on TFR so fingers crossed I'll be feeling good again soon :)

We'll all be looking fab for summer ladies!! :D :party0011:

hehe...I hope so. I think you'll definately be able to get back into the swing of things on TFR. I know sometimes if you dont eat it slows your metabolism down, if i wonder if that would have affected it. Did you still drink enough water?

I hope the stress at work sorts it self out, I know how awful it is, and esp with taking on two peoples jobs. I had that and ended up leaving.

Hi everyone,

I love water and I know that means Im a freak! LOL

I started drinking water when I did ww years ago and really think its the key tokeeping weight down. Over Christmas my consumption of water has dwindled to less than 1.5l a day, which is small for me even pre-LT, I always drank aminimum of 2l.

Not properly back on LT as the pharmacy is closed til Monday but have managed 3l today which has seriously curbed my apetite. Hubby took the boys to MD today and I went to do the lotto......... I had my bottle of water whilst waiting in the queue! (It was THAT long!)

I find a Evian 500ml bottle easiest to carry, its small enough for my handbag and not too heavy added to my uni books! I keep a 2l bottle in the car and top up from that when Im not at college. I refil my 2l bottle at home as we have our own well and the water is wonderful! At college or on placement we have water fountains so I refil my bottle there!

For me '6 a day keeps the hunger away!!'..... LOL

Do you take anything like that?

I take fibreclear to keep me reg, it is a powder which completely dissolves in my water, no taste or smell, it's fab! I take it every morning in a big glass of water and that gets the ball rolling on the water drinking.

this is my first day on lipotrim and im drinking from the volvic 1.5lt bottle so if i drink 2 a day i should be fine... ive just started my second bottle and have already gone to the loo twice...i feel like i have a sea in my stomach lol!
