Bears dont dig on dancin'
Hello, I'm Julz! I am changing from SW to WW today. Just need a change. I am 23lbs lighter thanks to SW, 31 to go! I am not an online member yet but will be soon, so I'm trying to do this alone. I'd be very greatful if someone could give me a few basic values for things like milk, cereal etc, and any things you'd think are good value for points as I don't have access to the site yet. Thanks.

:) xx

If youre not going to classes then to be honest I wouldnt waste the money on an online membership, invest instead in a points calculator, Eating Out book & Shopping Guide :)

it depends which cereals you mean, bran flakes, oats, cornflakes, special k all have different points values.

probably the easiest and cheapest way for you to find out the points values is to set up a spreadsheet on your computer as my son has done for me, input the forumla for points and off you go

i have also got a very extensive spreadsheet that you will find helpful. if you send me a private message with your email address i will send it to you.

Hi Julz

I too don't go to meetings and I just do it from home. It's easy enough once you get the hang of it.

If you need any help or advice don't be afraid to ask, this is an excellent community for motivation, knowledge and lots more.

IMHO Weight Watchers is the way to go. My sister lost 3 stone on SW and I am not far behind that on WW and she is very interested on how I am doing so well so she may become another convert and see the WW light :)

Good luck on your losses and please do keep us posted on how you're getting on.

Gerry
