Ooooooooooooh o/h went shopping yesterday and picked up lean mince instead of extra lean mince, is there much difference and does anyone know the syn value cos im having spag bol for tea xx

Actually not that bad although not free. Some people make do with draining or rinsing off the fat after cooking but SW have said that this does not make it syn-free.

I cant find extr lean mince either so iv been using lean everytime!!!

I buy mine at Waitrose, they have a great selection of everything. If you live in London, Wholefoods Market on high street kensington is another great shop for healthy foods. They sell wholegrains etc by the vat!

asda do extra lean mince xx thanks everone there is 200g in the pack so if its 1/2 a syn per 28g raw then i should syn it at about 4 and a half syns does that sound right xxx

I live in cornwall so no waitrose down here! if searched asda too and cant find it! oh well normal lean mince for me
