Hi There

Started Go Lower today. Granola for brekkie, brocolli and stilton soup for lunch and then beef bourginon with cabbage for tea. Had 2 of their bars throughout the day ...
and ...

I FEEL ABSOLUTELY GROSS !!

I have read that it can take several days for your body to go into ketosis (and I dont have any bad taste in my mouth) but I feel absolutely vile tonight, banging headache and really randomly achy arms .. like I cant be bothered ...

Am I just having some sort of weird placebo effect or can I possibly be feeling this rank so early on (I am usually a carb junky, this is probably the only day in my life i havent had a slice of bread ... !!)

Thanks for your help - and so glad to find this forum!

It can take a few days or longer to adjust and to start working properly. It is very common to feel rough at first ('Atkins 'flu') but it does settle down and you start to feel good, full of energy and best of all, free of cravings.

Drink enough water and permitted fluids and be patient. This difficult phase will pass and you will start to coast along.

Good luck!

Thanks very much .. I stuck through 2 days of feeling absolutely horrible (your right, did feel like flu .. ) but this morning I woke up sans headache and feel really fantastic! Not hungry anymore, and infact I dont really feel like eating - forced my breakfast and soup down.
I had a really high carb diet before so I am not suprized I zoomed into ketosis, now the challenge is to stay here ! hee hee

Great!

Stick with it cos you will soon see countless benefits, only one of them being weight loss ha ha.

To have cravings reduced or even removed is a dream for most people. When low-carbing this dream can become reality.

Happy New Year when it comes!
