Becca
Hi all,

I'm new to MiniMins. I wanted to find a support forum to help me along my path. My partner say's there is nothing wrong with me, so therefore... no support. My mother (who is very skinny size 6) is envious of my curves, so no support there either.

So here's a little about me.... I'm Becca, I'm 22 and I live in Scotland. I'm mother to two gorgeous kids, Mikey 4 and Kalea 16mths.

Before I fell pregnant for my son at 17. I was hard working and a slim 9 1/2 st. I was actually on the verge of being very skinny. After my son, due to PND and my father passing away...Also due to an eye condition, I took high doses of steriods. I piled on the pounds.

Around Nov 2008, I weighted myself at shy of 14st and I knew things had to change. I hated myself. I found out in early Dec 08 I was expecting my second child. The pregnancy was very hard and ended with me in hospital a few times. I dropped weight but my baby continued to thrive. Shortly before I gave birth I weighted in at 12 1/2 st. I was chuffed. After giving birth I was 11st 9lbs. Kalea was born 22nd August weight a nice 7lb 11oz's.

Now I'm still 11st 5-10lbs (goes up and down). I'm in a rut.

I'm 5ft 10 and got quite a big bust of 34F.
I'd love to lose 2 stone to take me basically around to the 10st mark.

That's what I'm hoping to achieve here.

But I've not a clue where to start

Hi hun and welcome to minimins. Have a look around the forums and check out what weight loss programme would be suitable for you and then have a read and get involved. Ask any questions you like, someone will always be ready with helpful advice x

Hi Cheryl,

I've had a wee look around. But because I work full time from home and the two kids and hubby works 6/7 days. I don't have time to get out to meetings and clubs. I'm hoping I can find something I can do from home and monitor. But reading some of these threads and seeng people transfrom is amazing. It's giving me the motivation already. Time for change!

How about joining one of the slimming clubs online, either Weightwatchers or Slimming World and you can get all the support from the forums and members on here? (Its cheaper online too :p)

Hello, and welcome to mins-everyone is really freindly, helpful and supportive.
I've done a few different diets both by going to class and joining the on line clubs but now am 'going it alone' at home

just yell if you want to know anything
