Hi everyone,

I trust you are all having a lovely crimble.

Think i have become congested with food:party0051:, I even exercised today!

How are you all getting on. :eating:

Hey Jot,

Hope you had a great Christmas! I've well and truely stuffed myself, I asked no one to get me chocs for xmas, needless to say i have boxes still unopened..its the chocolate thats killing me im fed up eating it now. Not sure when to re-start, I am defo having a mcdonalds with my daughter this week so I may wait til after that. But the chocs defo going to get hidden tonight!

I lost 3lbs the week before xmas...but i think i've put that back on, and more.

:(

Hey littlemiss,
hope your having a lovely christmas too.

Yes i know what you mean, i have had loads of chocs, and I think because roses, celebrations and quality street are cheaper to buy these days we tend to get even more, plus i love baileys but i never buy it because i just love it and what did I get? litres bottles of the stuff, I have given one away, damage limitation.

I have tried to start calorie counting but it been a bit hit and miss, so i thought a bit of exercise might balance it all out.

I stuffed myself silly as I have wanted to do all year and when it came to it I felt like I didn't even need too :( manily because I felt sweaty and bloated at night, couldn't sleep felt ill from it if anything... I want to get back to dieting lol, never thought I'd say that???

Hey,

I never associated feeling bloated with chocolate..fatty foods ect...since i've came off cal counting and have been eating crap my stomach is gurgling all the time, feel sick coz of the amt i've eaten..i cant even remember the last time i was hungry.

I think i will go back on plan the day after tomoz as im going to the pics then mcdonalds tomorrow...im gonna go back to 1000 cals a day, keeping a diary and exercising 3 x a week...my new goal is March-summer.

Just after last xmas was when i first started serious dieting, which wasnt too hard, i used my xmas pics as motivation as i looked huge..its harder this yr as my xmas pics look half decent..i look normal now but still chubby if that makes sense...i know i can lose more.

Anyway, good luck everyone
:)

^ hi since doing cc and eating better I do feel more ill when I come off, I esp can't eat McDonalds anymore I used to crave it like mad but now it makes me feel ill :(

Have good time though tomorrow x

I've been feeling all bloated and waking up a lot during the night and until I read this I hadn't any idea it could be associated with food. I've been having 1000 cals for meals, milk and fruit plus 300 extra until hitting Christmas.

I have tried to be as good as possible but it's not easy this time of year.

I think I might find it a bit easier to get back on track if the extra eating is what's been making me feel so bad.

Tarotwoman,

Hi, Yeah bad food definately makes a difference with bloating and headaches ect, I dont know if its because we tend to stuff ourselves untill we feel bloated, but I've been really moody the last couple of weeks too, i'm desperate to get back to my 1000 cals a day, i'm sick of feeling full and horrible

Back on track tomorrow, all the horror stories about people losing 4/5 stones then putting it back on, has freaked me out, im not gonna let it happen to me, so im nipping it in the bud just now.

:)

I've started today, got weighed (not official till Monday) and I've put pounds on. Funny, but I've been getting headaches too, I had a few when I first started the diet but they soon went. I suppose it was my body adjusting.

I took the Christmas tree down this morning, I'm hoping that'll be a visible reminder that Christmas is over.

Tracey

Yeah,

The thing is, when you eat rubbish you get sore heads ect, but when you cut it all out, you also get sore heads, but not for long. When I started back in Jan, I dont even wanna think about how much chocolate i'd been eating beforehand but when i started dieting, I had rlly bad sore heads, apparently caused by the fact that i'd been used to constant sugar, if u eat alot then cut it out it can give u headaches, only lasted a day or so with me. Like a comedown from the chocolate.

I'm on Day 1 today too, although im not weighing in til Monday (did you join the Jan Challenge?) I'm just concentrating on food this weekend, then as of Mon I will be starting exercise 3x a week too.

And I will also be taking my tree down, a bit depressing, but needs to be done for the sake of a fresh start.

:)

Yep, I'm doing same as you. I had to start with the food today coz if I hadn't, at the rate I'm going I'd have another couple of pounds to shift come Monday.

I found it a bit depressing too taking the tree down, but needs must, it was reminding me of Christmas and that means eating.

I'll be doing the same as you and starting the exercise on Monday, I'd got into the habit before Christmas of half an hour on total gym Monday to Friday so I'm going back to that.

You're right about the headaches, mine lasted about 4 days when I started the diet but I seem to have had one everyday over Christmas - could be the alcohol though!

Tracey

I am glad I am not the only one with headaches. I thought it was because I was staring at paper too much (due to revision :p). I didn't eat Macdonalds for 2 years because I am a vegetarian, and then me and my boyfriend went on holiday, stopping on the motorway the only place open was a Maccy D's. I was ill for over a day because of it. I don't eat it now.

I am starting with my exercise today :) My friend wants to get fit, so we thought we would do it together! I can't wait. x

I'm fed up of not eating. I've got my eye on the McDonald's festive After Eights McFlurry, but the thing's over 400 calories!
