I was stuck int he snow for 5 hours yesterday. (those who have me on FB see the photos)

But I also managed to push 5 cars up a slip road on the motorway who had got stuck........

I am LOVING the amount of exercise points I can cash in at SW group next week.

Hey Sulleyp,

I was also stuck for 4 hours and ended up abandoning/parking my car (safely) and walking.

No heros like you around to assist me yesterday!!

Just think 5 cars up a slip road must equal at least 1/2 lb!!

Well, good for you. Lots of great stories in the news today about how helpful individual people, and shops and hotels, etc., were last night to those who were stranded. I hope you get your just rewards in weight loss!

The story I liked best was of the John Lewis store in High Wycombe which accommodated stranded staff and customers in their bedding department! They opened up stocks of duvets and pillows, toys and books for the children, and provided loads of food and drink from the coffee shop.

I'm not complaining but we didn't have any!

I just got out of Kent before the lorries started jack knifing last Thursday night but besides that, nada.

Im getting hacked off because i cant get to the gym beacuse of the roads

Pain in the bum, but to compensate, I've been snowboarding in the fields behind my house - lol!

It took me 7 and a quarter hours to get home from work yesterday! A journey that usually takes me 40-45 minutes!! It was horrendous and I'm afraid the only exercise I got was with my mouth after I found a packet of Haribos fizzy cola bottles in my other halfs car!! lol

Got stuck while visiting friends in the countryside in Yorkshire and if it weren't for 4 farmers who pushed our car up, think we wouldn't have made it. Thinking to go down towards London for Xmas, so hope that the roads will be okay by then! Only exercise today was building a huge 6ft snowman!

Yeh I certainly think pushing cars up the sliproad should have lost me some weight!!!

It was amusing as my rubbish 6 year old peugeot got up fine. It was the expensive rear wheel cars that were struggling.

Yes well conincidentally my C messaged me asking about the traffic as her husband does the same sorta commute as me so I asked about the exercise points teehee
