Give this a try, its works brilliantly

Made a huge tuna salad yesterday with all free foods, but should have had mayo in to bind it, but obviously that was a no no!
So, had a look at what I'd got in fridge to substitute and the only thing I had was some pear yogurt. Used that instead and as the tuna salad had already got apples in, it worked brilliantly. So, don't be afraid to add fruity yogs to salads like this as it adds another dimention to the meal. xx

I do this pretty often.

If I wanted something savoury I add so curry or chillie powder to a low fat plain yougurt.

The only thing holding us back is our imagination

Yeah, adding spices is great at jazzing up a dressing, plain lemon or lime juice can make a world of difference too, just squeezed over food.

I nearly fainted when you said PEAR YOGURT. Lol - I guess i'm just not adventurous enough :)

ive never seen pear yoghurt that sounds lovely... which one is it?

They are from Lidl, Linessa brand. Can't find the syns in the book but I count them as 2 per pot, but when I used it as the dressing because it made 6-7 portions I didn't syns it. Don't know if anybody else knows the syns value.

Just checked on line.
Linessa, Yogurt, 0% Fat, Fruit, 125g pot 2 sins on all plans
