What happens if group is cancelled?

When I got to group last night there was a sign being put up to say it is cancelled - I asked the man who acts as the janitor for the venue and he said our C's scales were busted.

Anyway, I cannot get to another group this week and Boots is shut 'cause of floods - so just did a WI at home which, if I added 1lb to that weight (which is abouts the difference) it is a STS this week, but not marking this in my book obviously.

I assume that because it was group that was cancelled, they will 1) not charge people? I have a Count Down so I assume that it will roll over?
2) That at WI next week she will take WI results from last week as the previous week, even if some people do manage to go to another WI?

Also, how fast do you think her scales will be replaced? They seem good at getting things sorted so hopefully class will be on next week.

I know that this might not be easy to answer, but has anyone else had a class cancelled?

Why don't you ring or text her hun and get it from the horses mouth?
I'd be gutted if my group was cancelled and tbh a bit cross that she didn't text you all as she should have your details. Some people travel quite a distance to my group and they'd be pretty cross to find it cancelled!

I've tried to call and also sent a text - but no reply. No messages other than at group from her either. Not like her so bit weird.

I was a bit annoyed - it took 45minutes to drive 2 miles home cause of traffic so wasn't best pleased! Grr!

yeah she really should ahve contacted you, thats really not on!

and i should bloomin well think so that you wont be charged and that your count down will roll over. You didnt use it, and so it should be valid for next week.

How strange, she could have still done a sort of group without weighing in, or at least stuck around to tell you herself whats going on! Sounds odd to me..

Could she have come off bad in the floods? It doesn't account for her not notifying you but I feel concerned for her. There's obviously a reason she couldn't be there to tell people herself rather than let the janitor do it!

I am baffled as it's not her style. Given she might have arrived and then found out scales were busted might mean why no messages to tell us beforehand - but her lack of reply asking about next week etc is weird.

Will send her another and ask. Floods have affected the roads but she wasn't caught up in them - we had group last week.

Don't get me wrong, I'm gutted as hate missing WI and know it might have been last minute issue for her, just want to know what crack is about next week x
