Pepsi max?

pizzle84

I will do this!!!
Just wondering if any of the "coke" drinks are ok to drink on this diet. Saw someone at club drinking pepsi max....is that allowed??

All slimline and diet fizzy drinks are allowed. Pepsi Max is a diet one isn't it? If it is it will be free.

Pepsi Max is free, which is a blessing for me as I've been addicted to the stuff for years!

Most Consultants will tell you to try and limit fizzy drinks though - there seems to be something about them that makes you eat more.
My personal theory is that the gas builds up, you feel very full, then you burp (or worse!) and suddenly you're empty and go looking for food...

I'm addicted too. Its bluddy lovely. I used to drink Diet Coke, and thought that everything else was inferior, then one day I couldnt get Diet Coke(I know, can you believe that.?) and took a Pepsi Max instead and oh my God its so much nicer. Diet Coke leaves a horrible after taste and Pepsi max doesnt... its GORGE, and its FREE.... (thank God)

Pepsi max is far superior to any other suger free fizz imo,

Its just so sweet, it tastes like it could be full fat and youd never know the diff.. x

I drink loads of it and finds it really helps when i cant get to good food and am holdinmg out so i dont eat the bad stuff. x

i'm the opposite, i dont really like pepsi max, i'll drink it if there is nothing else, but i much prefer diet coke!!!

Ditto - the only cokes I will drink are Diet Coke and the Tesco Diet Coke (especially the one with Almond!! YUM). No other own brand coke tastes this good and I can't stand Pepsi! Yucky artificial taste left in your mouth!

Yep, definitely syn free (my two favourite words!) :party0027:

According to research, the cause is aspartame. I used to drink Pepsi Max as if it was going out of fashion, couple of 2litre bottles a day at times.

Looking back, I was always feeling tired, hungry, and always thirsty for more.

I checked out about aspartame and coule relate to all the accusations about it, so I cut PM out of my diet entirely (and other sugar free fizzies too). INSTANTLY stopped feeling tired, stopped feeling constantly hungry, and stopped being thirsty for the next drink EVEN WHEN I was still drinking the last one.

Food for thought!!

I got my aspartame info from wikipedia by the way. It is of course disputed. The original scientific report came back saying aspartame is fine. That report was paid for by the big fizzy drinks companies LOLOLOL.

I have since gone back to maybe one glass a day, as a treat, but no more.

Laddiesboy - I can believe that! I only drink Diet Coke as a treat now (less than 1litre a month I guess) and drink lots & lots of sf squash, water & redbush tea instead. I was always rushing to get the next glass before I'd hardly finished the first!

That's strange, I've been drinking Diet Coke since I was 15 (I think) and I've never had that. I'm able to come and go with it as I like. People always warn me about aspartame but I've never paid much attention.

Still, if it was syn'ed I'd probably be using some of my syns on it! I love the citrus version, and I miss the vanilla.
Pepsi Max is nice in small doses, but I've never liked Pepsi Diet.

I drink gallons of Diet Coke. I have at least a two litre bottle a day. I also drink Pepsi Max if it's on a special offer.. it is now.. but I much prefer Diet Coke. I find Pepsi Max is too sweet.
I have no side effects at all from them, and I certainly don't get hungry!

Gosh, i thought mine was bad, i'd say i go through 2 2 litre bottles and 4 500ml bottles each week. x
