Some of the comments under that blog sicken me, if this is the so-called "moral support" we're apparently in need of, they can stick it. Some people seem to find it hard to differentiate between moral support and bullying.
In the blog itself, I do agree with the fact that people need more support, but I know that in some families people don't just support. It's more like pressuring or constant jibing about people's weight. Most of the time it's NOT "gentle nudging" that's offered, it's nagging, which I for one don't respond well to!
