I made the most delicious breaded onion ring and mushrooms and they were FREE as long as you use the 2 slices of bread as a healthy extra.

I toasted the bread then hand blended it to make the bread crums, then added some cajun spice and S&P. Then cut thick onion rings and diped them in egg as well as the mushrooms then coated them in the bread crums and sprayed with fry light and baked them for 20 minutes.

For the dip i mixed a raw finely chopped garlic in Quark Cheese and added a bit of skimmed milk so to thin the quark a bit then some S&P and its done!

The dip was really tasty with the mushroons and onions i couldnt believe its FREE!!!!!!

ooo i think we will try them tonight with some steak and sw chips and some big fat grilled tomatoes.... cant wait now! mmmmm yummy! thanks very much x

I am not sure about the Red Days as i only do green.

We has them with Marris Piper SW chips my OH loves the chips and do does my 22 month old daughter.

oh i like the sound of that, think i might have to try that tonight, could always do breaded peppers also!!!!

The only thing i dont like is the quark though :(. xx

dont worry if you dont like Quark, you can use fromage frai instead xx

Ummm there's milk in there! So not free, unless that's HE too.xx

Its hardly a HE! Probably the cap ful of skimmed milk just to smooth the quark out but you can use Water instead of milk if preferred.

VLF fromage frais IS free - we use it all the time, and often mix it with quark to 'thin it down' a bit! Even if you don't like quark, it's worth giving it a try in a strong flavoured dip or spread, which masks its 'normal' taste.

I didn't like it at all at first, but can now eat it straight from the tub - it's so useful to carry around too for things like jacket potatoes...

this has inspired me to actually cook!!!!!!!!!!
