A sucker for a key change
Hi all,

I am new around here and just wanted to introduce myself!

I joined SW about 10 days ago and finding it okay... Evening meals are fine but I struggle in the mornings. I use my HEA and B for my breakfast. But, I never know what to have at lunchtime (at work) that is filling and very convenient.

Any suggestions will be very welcome :D

Welcome!!

It depends on what day you are having but these would be my ideas...

Jacket potatoes (cooked in microwave) with cheese and salad
Pasta salad
Savoury rice/Uncle Bens rice
Egg mayo sandwich/ryvita
Egg salad
Cous cous with roasted veg and quorn sausages

Hopefully that gives you food for thought!!!

I've been making up a sw quiche and having some for lunch everyday along with some salad and maybe a boiled egg. Very filling and tasty. Otherwise I tend to go for mugshots, couscous, or pasta n sauce. Have a look in the food diary section for some more ideas x

I am always very busy at lunchtimes and don't have much time, so I tend to have Ryvita or Corn Thins and cheese (cottage cheese, finely sliced Cheddar, or Baby Bel) and tomatoes and apple.

You can get Ryvita packed in fours in some supermarkets. A bit more expensive, but very convenient if you are packing food to take to work.
