Hi all,

Started Lipotrim today and just had my first shake, chocolate, all i can say is it was a LOT better than i was expecting after reading some threads here.

This is the place where i intend to update my own progress and would welcome encouragement by all (i'll probably need it!!)

I've also started with my time lapse photographs, taking a picture every day throughout my journey. Once complete i aim to publish the sequence showing the difference that LT makes not only to give me another thing to concentrate my efforts on but also to hopefully give inspiration to others

thats enough for now i'll be posting my experiences quite often and keeping myself busy

good luck to each and every one of us as we conquer our own issues with food!!

welcome Jay! we'll be glad to se a lot of you on here. its a lifeline for most of us!

best of luck and really glad your shake went down well. chocolate is the only one i have really, find the others too sweet but everyone is so different and our tastes change as our palate gets cleansed on this regime!

Hi Jay!

I'm on day 3 and i'm loving the vanilla and choc shakes. After reading your post im also going to take photos to see the difference and post them when i am finished.

Exactly Jay, i love reading all the posts and seeing everybody's weight loss tickers it makes me even more determined to reach my goal.

Welcome Jay and Vicki. You will both do well on this diet if you keep to the rules. You just cannot fail.
Keep yourselves bus for the first couple of weeks until your new routine is set. Try the shakes every which way until you find what suits you best. Give the bars a chance too(you do get used to them!!) as they are handy when you are out for the day.
This site is fab for keeping you on track and motivated. Lots of luck
 
well just had 'dinner'....mmm the chicken soup was as bad as i was expecting :(

tried it as is and then added some curry powder but still a bit mingin...

had a splitter of a headache all day, took some paracetamol and it went away....

not had too many hunger pangs but obviously the first few days will be the most difficult

i do actually feel full now...some more water to just top it off!!!

anyhow off to take picture No.2....

here we are at day two and just finished my first stawberry shake!!! yummy!!

found a really strange thing going on on Ebay

theres quite a few people selling the Lipotrim on there but its more expensive that actually getting it from the Pharmacy!!! nutters

anyway i think i may have to do something with my chicken soups as i'm not gonna be having any more of those!!

is there any guys who want to do a swap for my chicken soups for some shake flavours that you don't like???

didn't really want to put them up on ebay as i feel its a bit wrong

if you do want to swap then drop me a line on here!!!

also does anyone know where i can get the Listrine strips from as my pharmacy didnt have any

good luck losing

I can't take the chicken soups any more - I quite liked them at first, then tried a hot chocolate (which I don't recommend). It tasted just like the chicken soup and I haven't been able to have the soup since.
Great idea about the photography! You'll see a big difference quite fast.

Welcome to you , I am a newbie too .. although I cant believe that come monday I will have doen 5 weeks !! It really does fly by after the 1st week ! I have lost 26 lb in the 4 weeks I have been doing it .. its amazing !!! I too have desparately tried to like the chicken soup ( tryed it twice ) as it would be lovely to eat something with a spoon .. but its vile to me !!! I also tried the fapjack last week... rather like an oxo cube with peanuts in ?? I think I will stick with my Chocolate and starwberry shakes , which , although I gagged at first ( foound them very salty ??) I now love , but dont like them as mousse or frozen or made with peppermint tea .. like some people do .
I love your idea of aphoto every day .. I want to start doing weekly ones I think , although since admitting how big I am .. and starting the diet I am very self concious and dont like pics at the mo !!!
well done for starting the diet .. if you can get in the right headspace and have the deterimination.. it is amazing !!!

thanks for the advice!! when i next go in for the weigh in i'll take them along with me and try and swap!!

I've got a massive ASDA and TESCO right near me so i'll try and find them in there!! i'll have to go undercover and wear blinkers & a nose peg so i'm not tempted to stop and sniff all the food!!! lol

i saw some of those time lapse sequences on youtube and thought what a cool thing to do!!!

anyway my tummy is propper rumbling now so off to make another black coffee :(

like others have said this is all about your mind set and now i've started it there's no way i'm quitting!!!

it is quite funny to look in my bare fridge when i go to top up my water....luckily my OH is being really supportive which helps loads

one other thing i'm not doing is jumping on the scales at home as i think that its best to leave it once a week at the pharmacist cos in the past i've become obsessed by daily losses (and gains :( )

I didnt like the soup at first but i think its okish now. Dont think i'll get as many on monday though.

I have to admit to weighing myself today( day 4 so half way-ish) and im pleased i did because i can see the difference on the scales and its made me even more determined not to give up.

right thats the first weekend over with!!! pretty hard going but i stayed tough through it!!

had my parents stay over saturday night and went to the Cinema with them

my OH and mom went to see Paranormal Activity and my dad and i (don't like the ghosties) went to see 2012

i know we have to be strong, and i am completely, but with all the rustling of Maltesers and M&M's and popcorn you do get a little on edge, then i had to shout as some kids in front due to their constant chatting.....

suffice it to say that we won't be going to the cinema again, very annoying, the ladies had the same in their movie!!

got back home afterwards and had the obligatory Maccie D's, I of course just watched and sniffed ;)

then onto sunday where i was awoken with the gorgeous aroma of bacon and egg sandwiches :(

OH had her maintenance Summer Fruits Drink for dinner but had to finish it off with one of my favourites, Salt & Pepper Chili King Prawns... trust me i had the biggest two sniffs ever!!!

she does feel guilty but i tell her that i don't want her to give up all her things for me and the support she gives me is enough!!!

anyway got through it all no problem and feeling as smug and strong as ever!!!

day 5 now properly into Ketosis and can feel the fat just melting away

carried on with the photographs and had to have a sneaky jump on the scales...with 8/9 lbs down after 4 days so super chuffed with the progress so far

tried a peppermint tea hot chocolate....not for me just gonna have them straight and cold...

Jay, you seem to be doing really well. I agree about the soup. It is beyond disgusting. Keep up the water. Keep a bottle handy at all times and keep sipping. lots of luck for your weigh in.
