Hi all

I had my second weigh in today and only lost 2lb!! i am so disappointed with it. the first 5 days i lost 12lb so was expecting a big weight loss again, not as big as 12lb though.

the first week i was so good and so determined and not a thing touched my lips except the shakes and water. This week though i have started to pick at little things, and it was only tiny things and i lose 2lb. Could this reaally affect weight loss that much?

Right..i am making a pact to myself, from now on not one piece of food will touch my lips and next week i will lose at least 6lb, hopefully more! WATCH THIS SPACE.

Your body must be very sensitive to food - well it's a hard lesson (and not very fair really is it???) BUT if you follow it 100% next week, you should have a good loss BUT think about it, you've lost a stone in 2 weeks!!! It's supposed to be a stone in a month, you've done it in half the time!!!

Well done you!!

I think this is highly possible, when I have great weeks I lose well, but if I pick even a slice of ham it will only be around 2lbs if im lucky.
So I have learnt my lesson.

Hi Ruth

I am the same as you 2 weeks ago I had two very small meals no carbs only chicken and veg and I put 5lb on (bummer that !!!) so over the two weeks I only lost 1lb and was very very disapointed
It was my own fault for cheating
I too have learned my lesson, stick to the diet religously and the weight will drop off, dont even lick your fingers when cooking or that might start you off
Good luck and

STEP BACK FROM THE FOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only lost 2lbs in my 2nd week without cheating at all so actually I think you did pretty well. Everyone loses at different rates, I now lose around 4-5lbs a week pretty steadily so I'm pleased with that :) I think a lot of people have weeks where they don't lose as much as they'd like.
I went on holiday last week so missed my meeting, hoping for a hefty loss on Tuesday!
