O/T Anyone Ever Had Kidney Stones?

......or know what we can do for ourselves to prevent them??

I've been diagnosed with a kidney conditions which makes me predisposed to kidney stones and infections and I just wondered if there was any action I could take myself to prevent either from happening?

I would imagine anyone who's had them has been told how to prevent them in the future.

Drink lots of liquid (water especially I think) as kidney stones are mineral(?) deposits that build up in the kidneys and water flushes through your kidneys.
