Praise indeed

:D I saw my friends 15 year old daughter recently, having not seen her for months.

My friend has now told me afterwards, she said;

"Margaret looks like a really trendy Mum now doesn't she?"

My friend says she wasn't sure what her daughter thought previously (and its probably best not to ask lol) but I consider it to be a real compliment coming from someone within an age group that will be so influenced by media etc.

One of the reasons I am doing this is because I want to set a proper example for my daughter, she's only 2 just now but she'll be a teenager one day (probably far too soon for my liking!) it hadn't occured to me I can actually be a good example to other young people we know. I'm pleased that my friends 15 yr old likes how I look as I was starting to be concerned that all teenagers were aspiring to size zero (needless to say I'll never be that nor do I want to).

anyway, quite excited to be thought of as trendy lol!

Wow! Praise indeed!!

Teenagers aren't too forthcoming with compliments so you deserve to feel great!

Well done!!

Wow,
what a great compliment you got there :D

tis true, all this aspiring to be a size zero or close to that is very worrying indeed....

Be sure to tell your friend to keep you updated on the compliments from her daughter lol

Now that is what I call a compliment - anything positive coming from a 15 year old girl has got to be seen as praise indeed.

Yahoo.. parise indeed.. and well deserved of course!!

It does somehow feel more real and true when a compliment comes from a child, as they are known for just coming out with what they feel.
You must feel great.

Sonya you are looking great in your pic at the side!
