Not losing

Have just started slimming world two weeks ago (dont go to classes but got books off internet and used to go years ago). Have stuck to it 100% and have not used more that 15 syns a day, usually about 9 or 10. The first week I lost 6lb but nothing the second. Am I doing something wrong, Iv followed the books to the letter mainly having green days with the occasional red & extra easy thrown in. Really dissapointed but wondered if this was normal?
 
first of all congrats on losing 6 last week thats a fantastic loss and may contribute to why you havent lost this week,so is nothing to worry about so keep with it and you will see the llbs coming off
 
It could be that your body 'got a shock' the first week and has reacted to it this week in which case you should get back in to losing next week. It could be that the books you've got aren't up to date and have the wrong info.

It may be worth going back for one class to get the up to date books and chat from a class leader.
 
The weird thing is that although the scales aren't showing a loss this week I actually feel thinner (could all be in the mind). That time of the month as well so hoping that maybe that has something to do with it. Wont give up though and hope to see results next week.
 
Firstly well done on your first week's loss Hun!!! Secondly it is probably that old TOTM thing that has stopped you from loosing this week..you are lucky...I always gain when its my TOTM!!!
Dont be too disheartened by it all...stick on plan 100% again and you will see that loss.

try to look at you're losses over 4 weeks then it evens out any surprises!
 
Did you take your measurements before you started? If you didn't - do it now!!!

Sometimes the scales don't show a loss but your measurements change (for the better) - another good way of showing you're getting there!

As others have said you had a really good loss the first week.
I lost 4.5 pounds in my first week and then stayed the same for the next two weeks!
I was gutted as I had stuck to plan 100%.
I carried on though and lost 3.5 pounds the next week.
We are all different and lose weight at different rates. If you stick to it, it will come off!

I agree with everyone! First time I joined SW, I lost 6lbs in my first week and GAINED 1lb on my second week even though I was 100% on track. I agree that it could be shock, the week after I lost 2.5lbs and kept on losing steadily after that. Don't worry about, just keep at it and you will lose loads!
