Tinned fruit in juice

Hello,

Do you have to syn this? I've seen tinned fruit as HE's.

Why is it that you have to? and how many syns for a tin of mixed fruit?

I do understand why cooked fruit has to be synned but can't get the fact if you mash a banana you have to syn it, when it gets mashed up in your mouth anyway!!

Yes you do need to syn canned fruit I'm afraid. I think it's something to do with the canning process that means it is no longer free.
