How do you keep your food warm on a taster evening? i really want to take in the mushy pea curry to my group but by the time im there, all paid and weighed and gone through everyones losses then surely it will be cold

Does your hall not have a kitchen? our does with a microwave , food is warmed up when we are ready to sample. If not have you or anyone got one of them food flasks with the wide neck?

no it doesnt, all i can think of doing is cooking it in my slow cooker, then taking the whole thing and plugging it in there lol

Thats a good idea, my slow cooker keeps food warm for hours even if it not plugged in. I will be stealing this idea for my next taster night.

Taster evening as soo good you get to try lots of different types of food, often something you wouldn't think of making yourself. At our group a few people make things out of the SW mag. You really can get a lot out of this, & last time somebody made cucumber (I think) soup & brought it in a slow cooker.

At our last taster evening my OH made a Spicy Bean Lasagne. She just made sure it was piping hot before we left and covered it in Silver Foil. It was still warm when we started the taster.

It was quite amusing really as it looked a bit slap dash because it nearly got tipped up when I braked hard in the car on the way to group. You could see people looking at it thinking, ermm what's that, after the first person tasted it though and word got around it soon disappeared lol, it is so delicious. I was a bit disappointed really as I wanted to take it home and eat it for myself :p
