JUDDERing and exercise?

16lb to go!
Hi all I have a question. I was supposed to be DD today. I ate about 1000cals ish. But then, I went to gym and exercised about 850cals. What's the deal? If you exercise, on DD's are you supposed to still eat 500cals?

Short answer: Yes.
The amount of food intake in a down day is not relevant
to the amount of exercise one does during a down day.

BTW, my personal success comes from the position that:
Exercise is for Fitness;
Nutrition is for Health;
Low-Calorie eating is for Weight-Loss.
Each of these 3 should be treated as totally separate and independent issues.

When I first started I only used to exercise on up days, but now I'll do a class or have a swim (even a bit of cv gym work) on a dd without altering my cal allowance and I always feel fine. I think doing too much on a dd wouldn't be wise, and if your body starts telling you to stop then do so. But as long as you feel ok then why not? I actually never feel hungry after exercise so doing it on a dd is a great idea lol!

I love that regardin the exercise, nutrition, and low calorie eating! Wonderful!!!!

Hey Brightangel, you should put that sayin in your signature! LOVE IT!!!!

It is sooo true!!!

When I exercise, I don't really lose weight.....The exercise is because it helps me feel good, and its good for my heart and lungs......

I watch what I eat and try to get my nutrition because its good for my body....

And to lose the weight, ONLY low calorie works for me! :)

There is just sooo much truth to that!
