Hello :)

Have I added this up right? I'm going to my first meeting tomorrow night, and I have just sat down and worked out points with the use of a magazine, and the website, and this site...

The plan for tomorrow is
Breakfast - Poached Eggs on 2 slices of Nimble Toast, 3pts for the eggs, 1 for the toast = 4 pts?

Morning snack of a yogurt, the label says 1pt

Lunch - WW Chicken Soup 1pt

Dinner - Chicken stir fry, vegetables are mushrooms, pak choi, beanshoots and peppers, with soy sauce and ginger. I make this to be 2.5 pts for the chicken breast, and the veg is 0 pointed?

8.5 points for the day... That's not right is it? I think I should be aiming for something like 27 points? I dont want to fill up on junk just to take up all my points...

Please can someone let me know if Im going wrong? Or should I just wait and see what the Consultanty-Leadery person says tomorrow???!!!!

Thanks :D

you seem to have added the points up correctly but you need to be eating waaaaayyyy more than that. Have some bread with your soupl, some noodles with your stir fry, fruit. How about a low point snakc between meals, you are only allowed to save a minimum of 4 points a dayso if your allowance is 27 you should be having at least around 23. 14 points a day is the bare minimum anyone should have.
Your basic plan is fine but you need to add more somewhere as you will never survive on that amount

Thank you for a quick reply :)
I'll hit the books again while watching Come Dine With Me, and add some bits, and post again :) Cheers!!!

just to confuse you, any bread (nimble / ww) that is 0.5 per slice actually works out at 1.5 for two.. sorry! :( x

I'm the same, I don't eat alot at all, and virtually starve all day, as my dinner tends to be high in points. I know it's not right, but there's lots of foods I don't like.

No, thank you, that's helpful :) uses up more points ;-) I don't quite understand why though..

If I had 1 slice at breakfast, for 0.5, and then one slice with my tea, for 0.5, would that still equate to 1.5? Weird!! :)

I dont worry about the bread personally, I just treat it as the points for one slice, although I am sure WW works out at 1 point for 2. Its the same with most veg which is free but if you worked out the cals for the masses of veg I eat you would have to point it..I dont! lol! My first day on WW I ate 13 points because I was in a diet mentality. Dont worry about it, you will soon be posting asking for advice on what to eat cause you have no points left! lol! Good luck with your start, you will be a new woman soon! :) Jen xx (P.S I dont think WW chicken soup will fill you up, toast with it is a good idea...or some low fat pate and asda french toast (0.5 a slice)?? I eat the asda own low fat pate, a wee packet of it is only 1.5 points so easy to take to work)
